Easy to use and very good quality. As a cable tech I have been used many through the years and expensive ones too. There is no difference at all. Thanks to Amazon we can always find the products we want at our convenience.

I paid for this device the first time I used it. Now I can make custom coax cables to whatever length I want eliminating a lot of wire clutter. It was a hard sell to my spouse at first but not now.

I bought this after trying a tool I already owned to repair an RG59 cable. My original compressor tool had no means to adjust the compression ram to accommodate different length connectors. I found the RG59 connectors I bought were slightly longer than the OEM RG6 that came with and worked OK with the old compressor. This adjustable compressor tool was just what I needed. It easily accommodated the different connectors by allowing the ram to lengthen or shorten as required. The only issue I see with the new compressor tool is that it is all too easy to get a little out of adjustment between connectors. The ram adjustment is a little too loose and will allow alterations in the tool setting. You need to carefully check before each compression to ensure the setting hasn't changed. If the ram adjustment was slightly less loose or had some kind of locking mechanism, the tool would be 5 stars.

Easy to change types of fittings Fast !

A lot of these products with this style of tool have RG59 and BNC in the title but the tip on these tools is one for RG6 (only). They usually have an RG59 stripping tool and that is why they put it on the title. Most people are not buying the bundles for the stripping tool and even if they strip the cable for BNC RG59 connectors, they can't use the compression tool because it does not have the proper tip. The included tip only terminates RG6 and it will damage a BNC RG59 connector.Jonard tools may have a patent on the tip but they are the only ones that have an interchangeable tip for BNC RG59 connectors. https://www.amazon.com/Jonard-CT-200-Universal-Compression-Tool/dp/B0069627ZUI have waisted a lot of time and effort on this but I like the design of this tool because it is very compact and feels like good quality. However, I can only use it for RG6 which is disappointing. So save yourself the long search and spend the $50 on the Jonard tool if you like this design and need it for BNC rg59 connectors.

My husband accidentally cut thru the cable line while he was digging in the yard. This was exactly what he needed to fix it.

Connector housing fell apart after a few uses. The design is great but dependability is bad. I would not recommend this compression tool.
