Creamy Paté

I do rescue and often have newborn kittens. This is the perfect food for kitten when they are first weaning.

according to my cat he loves this thing, he hasn't told me what he likes about it specifically but i assume by the rate at which he eats, he absolutely loves it. perfect for keeping my little guy hydrated too, having him on a exclusively wet food diet really surprises me how much less he goes for the water. but spending the amont of money one would spend on takeout for a night is perfect if i get to feed my cat for like 3-4 days. affordable and great for your cats.

This is a quality product! I've used Weruva for 10 yrs for my cat (who passed away in June) and now for my new kitten. ALL natural chicken breast. And while this is pate for my kitty, I bought the adult cat food which is real chicken breast you can see...no fillers.

Having trouble getting your cat to eat or gain weight? If they already like churu, they will probably like this puree, with the added benefit of being a complete food! Was so happy my picky senior who was sick and lost a lot of weight loved eating this food, especially since the chicken puree has almost double the calories of most similar sized cans (125 calories or so!). He enjoys the chicken puree the most with some added water so he can easily lick it up. Fish based one was a hit as well but it has considerably less calories.

Excellent weaning food. Very soft, no chunks. All of my fosters have loved it.

**Updating my original review - I left 3 stars the first time, but I've dropped it to 1. Not sure if I got a bad batch or what but after this made my kitten have horrible gas I decided I would try and see if the neighborhood stray would like it - I mixed it with hot water...he wouldn't even touch it. Didn't eat it..it sat outside and I tossed it. Red flags when stray animals won't even touch food. Steer clear of it. So far Orijen is much better and no gas from any of my cats. I thought this would be good to try based on ingredients and reviews However it gave my kitten severe and I mean severe gas...he smelled up the whole house. Couldn't even have company over. He'd be sleeping on top of the couch and the whole house smelled like rotten eggs. The morning I stopped feeding this the gas completely stopped. Maybe it'll work for your kitten - they're all different but it didn't work for mine. Other than that cans arrived perfectly shipped and in tact no issues there...just not right for mine. I wish I could return it and use that $ to continue looking for a kitten food that works for him.
