EZGO 36V Powerwise Charger Board Power Control Board Replacement

Had a charger fail. After reviewing how to fix it on the internet I had a educated guess it was the board. Install was easy enough and the charger now works fine.

Since my wife is notorious for leaving this charger outside in torrential downpours I bought this, taped off the male connections, and coated the whole board in epoxy and then coated all connections with conformal spray. All seems to be working well and charger is now capable of operating underwater. This was much cheaper than buying a new "waterproof" charger.

This is a very dependable product I use them all the time in my golf cart shop I have not yet received one that did not work and I have ordered lots of them it also comes with instructions however I find the dip switches information is a little difficult to understand great value for the money

The new circuit board works great but the instructions that come with it are not complete. After I installed the new circuit board I plugged the charger in and it didn’t hum at all so I thought the new circuit board was defective. After reading reviews I found that the charger needs to be plugged into the golf cart to make it work so I did and it worked just fine. Nothing mentioned about that in the instructions that came with it

Found a YouTube video but that wasn’t really necessary. It was super easy to install. Saved the charger.

This was a simple install. Don't let the charger scare you. It looks more complicated than it is to repair. I just removed the old style board, installed the new board, placed connectors where the instructions said to put them and holy smokes! My charger works again! The old chargers like mine have two boards and this one board replaces both old boards. When removing the old board there are two wires you won't use anymore ( black and orange ) the lead to the second board. Then you connect the black pigtail wire that is preinstalled on the new board to the red wire that is leading from the cord that plugs into the cart, and plug the red wire to the case ( heat sink) easy instructions. Works great now.

I didn’t notice that this board had DIP switches, and I could never configure it to cycle power correctly. The components appear to be very similar, other than the added switches. My original controller in my Textron PowerWise 28115G04 battery charger did not have any switches. I ended up returning this board, and purchasing the one without switches and my golf cart is back in action.

WORKS AS IT SHOULD LETS SEE HOW LONG IT LASTS IS THE BIG QUESTION.

did not work, removed several times. Finally it worked after changing ground location. Did not shut off. Cost me some batteries.LOOK ELSEWHERE. SAVE YOURSELF.
