I should have gotten the bigger Greenfield 2116 chain. The 2114 is too light. Nice product. The PVC keep the chain straighter and I believe that helps set the anchor properly. Non-PVC coated chain seems to bunch up or fall in the wrong stop not allowing the anchor to set.

Ideal chain cover idea. Live it.
This worked great. The chain now doesn’t scratch my boat on pull in and I don’t get that nasty galvanized chain corrosion dust all in my boat. Easier clean up after a day at sea.

Really it works fine. when I received it I expected all the links to be of the same size - the larger heavier gage. Only the two end links are large the middle links are of a smaller size and weight. It seems to function well but I wish I had known- I would have ordered the heavier chain.......Price was right though.
