It does not include a player. An amp and speakers only.

There is no image of the sockets on the amp. could someone provide, and tell me how to connect to tv to make it into a tv surround sound system?

The amplifier in this package does not have an SPDIF connection on it. There is a 3.5mm jack connection, and 3 phono line inputs on the back of the amp
