3 feet 37.9KHz (38KHz) Infrared Receiver Extender Cable, Suit for TV Sets, Video Recorder, STB, Satellite Receivers, DVR etc, 3.5mm Stereo Plug

Works very well to allow my Bose remote to control my cable box! (Sci Atl Explorer box). However, it doesnt seem to work as well with the origianl cable box remote (possibly a different frequency?). I'm still very happy with this, got the job done.

This reciever worked great for me while I had it connected to a 100ft 3.5mm extension and my FIOS box but it would not work with the BAFX IR REPEATER that Amazon sells. I had to buy a new slightly more expensive reciever from BAFX.

The receiver works great. I have it hooked up to a Charter HE set-top box which is all hidden behind the flat. It made it a nice clean install and upgrade. As you can see I have it attach at the bottom left of the TV. Just used a piece of flat stock I had and used double stick to hold it in place. Again, works great!

The device is constructed to allow setup/installation to be a snap. The 3 feet cord was perfect for adding it as an IR receiver to the LG TV. The adhesive patch allowed the unit to be placed on the TV body --- out of sight yet located so that the controller could be used from almost any location in the room.

This thing just doesn't work unless you are basically within a few feet of it. Buy something else. I got one with its own power supply and signal booster which works very well.

Had best of hopes but unfortunately this does not work for my Sony STR-DN1040

This was one of many IR receivers I bought in an attempt to find one that will work on the zone units on the Octava HDMI matrix overCat6. Unit arrived in excellent condition but was not one that will work for my purpose.

I had to mount my RV stereo system where I did not have good line of site for the remote. I plugged this into the provided IR port and it just works.
