Adult Sports Mask

I was on the fence about ordering this since it’s pricy and there are mixed reviews. Boy am I glad I tried it out. I got it specifically to use at the gym, and it is great for that. It is soaked by the end (gross, but unavoidable) but unlike my cotton masks, it’s not touching my face where it makes that uncomfortable. I’m not going to act like breathing hard in any mask is a cake walk, but it’s better than any other and I feel much safer in it. What I didn’t anticipate is it’s also the best mask for singing. I’ve tried several and this is far and away the best for it. You can take quick deep breaths without it sucking into your mouth and the foam lining keeps it from getting too foggy in there. I don’t know why some people found it hot. It is thick, but it’s very light. I even put another mask on top (we wear matching paper masks for performance) and didn’t notice any difference in ability to breath. It doesn’t shift around either, so while my mouth is going, my mask stays right where I put it (unlike some of my fellow singers who I saw fiddling with their nose piece). I wore it for about 20 hours on and off the last couple days and never felt uncomfortable. The only explanation for the bad reviews is we are all unique little snowflakes. One size never fits all. I highly recommend at least giving it a shot. Life changing for me!

I teach fitness classes at the gym and I've tried at least 30 different masks. This is the best one. Is it perfect, no. But, it's the only mask I can keep on during a whole one hour class without suffocating. The other masks get completely soaked inside/outside, which takes away from the effectiveness and I have to do mask changes at least 3-5x's during a cardio type class. Yes, this one still gets hot and sweaty inside but the outside remains dry and the mask keeps its shape away from my face so I can breath. It is the most soft mask and feels like a pillow. The top nose piece actually is loose and will slip when I start doing jumps and higher intensity workouts, however, I accidentally put it on upside down once and it's actually better. The chin piece is really secure and fits my nose perfectly. It's expensive but worth it to me, I ended up buying several more so I didn't have to handwash the one after each class to have it ready for the next day's class.

I bought for running in my area and hiking. Too many people are out to maintain a good distance, so I put a mask on whenever I need to. Typically, I'll have it on for 2-3 minutes at a time. It's much easier to breathe in and much more comfortable than any of my other masks. But, it certainly isn't "easy to breathe in" or "comfortable to run in." Make sure you measure your vertical and horizontal measurements and use Table B. If they don't match the same size, get the larger one. There is no way I could have worn the size recommended by Table A. Table B has my vertical measurement at the top end of LG/XL while my horizontal measurement was in the middle of MD/LG. The only challenge is that there is no adjustment to the earloops, so the mask can feel a bit loose. The earloops are very thin and stretchy, good for comfort, not so good for fit. They rapidly get soaked in sweat and hard to manipulate. Since I am putting it on and taking it off constantly, I'd prefer soft, tubular, but non-stretchy earloops with a way to adjust their length to the width of my face. The flimsy nose wire requires a good bit of pressure to get it into proper shape, then loses that shape over time, requiring another push after a minute or so. I think the UA wire is closer to best than the standard flat nosepiece you see in most masks, but it would be better if it was a bit stiffer. The mask material is puffy, which gives it a bit of shape, but that thickness and the fact that at rest there is a significant space between your face and the mask also makes the air you breathe stuffier, as you re-breathe the air that doesn't get forced all the way through the mask. I suspect there is some benefit against disease spread, but since I'm only wearing it outdoors and generally staying more than 6 feet from everyone, that isn't my primary concern. I have an N95 for when I need to go to indoor public spaces. I'd prefer a tighter fit to my face, with less airspace behind the mask, and a slightly less flexible fabric in the breathing area. So, it's far from perfect, but more perfect for my needs than any other mask that isn't just a glorified bandana. I'll buy a replacement as soon as someone makes something better, but I'll buy another if this one wears out before anyone does.

Love this! Bought a few & will keep buying more as they are soft, silky, don't irritate my face and make my face itch terrible like other masks do, easy to breathe thru don't make me hot, this masl is the best one I've ever had, I haven't gotton sick at all with any illness with this mask & I have to wear it any time in public due to no immune system. No bad orders from this as some reviews state that it has an oder, but my didn't have one & I have a sensitive sniffer.

For those of you who work out at gyms or have other situations where you work up a sweat in a mask-required or mask-recommended scenario, I would highly recommend this mask from Under Armour. I have two of them in rotation that I use for gym workouts. A little expensive, but worth it. I found that conventional masks that function just fine for everyday situations can be very uncomfortable for workouts, as they will quickly become soaked with sweat. As such, they are not only uncomfortable but can also inhibit breathing, and from what I understand a wet mask loses effectiveness. This mask, in contrast, provides a little space between mouth and mask, and is moisture-wicking. I can do 45-60 minutes on an elliptical machine and feel very comfortable from start to finish. I have washed my masks a few times (though I let them air-dry rather than put them in the dryer) and thus far they have retained their size and form.

I was given a mask by my employer back in the summer of 2021 when we returned to the office. I absolutely hated wearing facial masks because I couldn't breathe or speak freely without the mask connecting with my lips and nose. Also, the fabric thickness left me overheated and the ear straps irritated my skin. They also would gap and didn't provide full protection. I spent so much money on masks that didn't work!! I'm sure I'm not alone. This mask was in a game changer!! This mask is lightweight, the design creates a spacious air pocket btw my mouth and nose and the fabric so I can comfortably breathe and be heard easily. The soft texture feels so gentle and light on my skin I don't feel any tension on my ears. I can handwash it easily with a little dish or hand soap and it air dries fast (30 mins in a sunny window). The only negative (and this is with every mask I've worn) is in hot weather the bridge of my nose will sweat from the heat and condensation from my breath. Although the nose bridge on this mask does have absorbent fabric it still gets damp and is not very pleasant after long wear. I couldn't imagine having to wear it to workout in, but I suppose if I had to wear a mask anyway, this would be the only one that would work at all. All in all, I love it! It keeps it's shape, and is so lightweight you'll forget it's on. It's also incredibly durable. I still have the original mask, which looks like new, and I bought 1 more as a back up. Perfect!

I am not particularly sporty and have never particularly enjoyed this brand, so I was a bit annoyed that I was paying for a brand name to be visible but I didn't care as long as the quality was worth it. I honestly just don't think it is. I was specifically looking for a mask that wouldn't stick to my mouth, had a flexible nose strip, and would stay reasonably cool throughout the day, and that I would be stoked if this helped with the glasses fog and didn't look too flashy. I figured this would be my workout mask if that didn't happen... To be honest, I couldn't work out in this mask. It is REALLY thick. The inside of this mask builds up condensation like crazy, so any excessive breathing or sweat just... Sits inside. It's gross. It doesn't stick to my mouth the way most basic cloth masks do, which I wanted... But it really is so thick that it's not actually helping me speak to people. I've tried for a few months and it's not any easier to speak to people. Even if the problem is my own fault, this mask just isn't solving the issue. I know that most of my customers relied on seeing my lips to understand me, and enunciating more with a better mask didn't help. Definitely not worth the price difference if there wasn't a difference. The nose strip was also felt like... The sane quality of flexible metal that bread twist ties have. Like, I was glad it was there but it doesn't hold shape. I needed to be able to carry this into work and after the first time I used it, it just wouldn't hold shape at all. If you care a lot about appearance, I developed a loose thread on one of the grey dots that I just had to cut off, and the logo is the cheap bendy material that I usually associate with the underarmor logo. I am honestly just happier with most of my regular cloth masks, and they have all come in 3 packs that were still 1/3rd of this price. I wish I hadn't bought it and I tried to give it a fair chance.

With the world we're in, comfort and durability is key with this kind of mask. Working out and airplane travel was the reason for this purchase. I've owned for a couple months now and am incredibly happy with this mask. Can hand wash easily and is so nice to have on when working out. Breathing easy without that hot blow-back air that we're all familiar with. For travel, the straps are super easy on the ears for a long duration and the mask is designed to wrap around your face without pushing against it. Its strange thing to explain but it doesn't press against your face like every other mask. For the amount of use this gets and the foreseeable future we'll need to have these this was well worth the investment.

Comfiest mask I've used. I wear these masks a lot at work. They even block out some smells. Easy to breathe thru but you can't feel your breath thru them (even when blowing hard).
