An "ok" phone... when it worked.
I purchased 2 of these phones and one of them is dead. I get a steady yellow light as soon as I plug it in but the phone won't even boot. It's dead, Jim.This fact notwithstanding, the speaker quality is bad. The mic quality is bad. They're "functional", just not as good as you would expect from a close to $300 paperweight. The Android OS used in these units is outdated and it lacks some functionalities that I can't enumerate right now because the phone's been dead for a bit and I can't remember. In closing:The phone loos great; the appeal is good, the idea behind it is solid. The unit itself sucks.

Screen is buggy and cannot be VLAN'ed
I like the touch screen but it is buggy, when I start entering the numbers on the dial pad it sometimes decides that I am done and starts dialing even if there are only 4 digits entered. We use this phone in our organization in which we have all our other phones (D40, D50, D65, and D70s) set to a separate VLAN but the D80 is not capable of using a separate VLAN. Also the sound through the handset or through my headset is lacking in quality compared to the D50 and D65 that I previously had.

Major bugs randomly power cycles even while on the phone
This phone looked so sleek and cool. We ordered four of them and they have turned out to be the worst phone. The phones suddenly power cycle even while in middle of a call.We had our IT guys and phone guys run multiple tests and the end result is these phones are bad....
