This is an overall quality/style/value review. If you've had other folding reading glasses, you have probably dealt with those that were pretty flimsy, and/or overly small. Where the company traded quality materials and style to give you something small-ish. That's not the case here. Quality: These feel sturdy with substance instead of very light weight metals. The screws seem to be doing a solid job as opposed to just a pivot point for everything to just swing around freely. In fact, I kind of hope they loosen up a little but with time, but I like that they hold together so well. Style: My biggest complaint with other folding glasses is that they don't look like regular glasses. Some are so narrow that it's hard to focus you eyes on the actual glasses. Once unfolded, these look like full glasses. Maybe a little closer to reading glasses, but I can wear them up close OR down on my nose. Either is comfortable and allows me to read easily. Value: 15 bucks for 2 pair? Seriously, you probably have a pretty low expectation for what these will be at that price. Since I only wear glasses for reading, I have bought more than my share of Walmart glasses to keep around the house, and these are better than any of those I have bought. These are my "going out" readers. Something my wife will keep in her purse (size), and I'm not embarrassed to wear in public (style). That's good value in my book. As with any folding glasses, i can't imaging they are made for heavy use. Any thing with moving parts has a limited lifespan. The more you move those parts, the more wear on the screws/joints. However, as occasional readers, they are great. I will use these for menus eating out, and great travelers away from home. I'll keep my real cheapies for every day reading around the house.

The belt pouch, not so much. The belt loop isn't very sturdy and busted within weeks. (Kinda had a hunch they would) However, I was more concerned with the glasses so that's a plus.

very nice. fits perfect in pocket, on belt. The strength 2.0 was correct. The case is pretty nice for the price. Seen about the same type in stores they were about $1 more. Showed these too a friend they order their set right away. No more "wheres my readers". Would purchase again if need to. The frames fit good on my average face. Be careful when folding so as not to scratch lens. There's a right way to folding them.

I have plenty of folding readers, from multiple manufacturers. Such an item is invaluable (right at hand and easy to use) when you need it. As for these, they seem accurately-marked (correct magnification); and their hinges seem "tight" as opposed to sloppy, as well as fairly durable. So I would say that overall this is a good value for the price. But the main reason I bought this item was to replace the belt case I already have. It has survived several pairs of glasses (that have worn out, have snapped in half due to wear on the central hinge, or have simply been lost). If you're thinking the same thing, reconsider your purchase: 1) The case is vinyl ("leather-look?") and clearly will rip early in its lifetime. 2) The snap on the case is of low quality, and will probably rip out or not stay closed after a short while. 3) And, the belt loop on the case is secured with heavy thread -- okay, but it will undoubtedly rip through the vinyl, allowing the case to detach and vanish. The one saving-grace for these cases is the fact that the manufacturer has seen fit to slip a little plastic "shell" inside, which will keep the case from deforming and keep your glasses from being crushed. I only wish more thought (and more quality) had been invested in the material that composes the case and in the snap. Oh, and I would have far preferred a spring-loaded belt clip, as some manufacturers have added to similar items -- so they can be removed without removing your belt from two loops. I'd have paid considerably more for those features without complaint.

These readers are of poor quality. I have purchased many of these readers over the years since 2017. I have never complained about the quality because they are not expensive but today I am complaining. The nose pads break off easily and the temple tips fall off. The belt loop detaches from the glass case easily. I actually like the concept and design but the quality of this product is very poor. I will not purchase any more of them. I was hoping as time went on that the quality would have improved, but it didn't. The readers just delivered on January 8 have already failed for the reasons stated above.

These are well built glasses (for the price), however the case is too bulky. From the picture I thought it would be slimmer, its sticks too far out from the belt, is somewhat uncomfortable sitting, especially in a car with the seatbelt on. And if your wearing a shirt untucked there is a noticeable bulge. I give it four stars for what appears to be quality glasses.
