Worked out well for what I needed. No issues in regards of the threads. Hold well and securely. Yes you got to make sure you are not sitting at one of the cut outs in the rails. Depending on your application keep that in mind. I used it on a 2018 Tacoma.

Perfect truck bed rail system addition!
Perfect fit for my 2018 Toyota Tacoma bed rail. Now I can add additional hooks and also holders for tools! These are perfect to add a few more hooking points if you are trying to tie down things securely to your bed.
