Love Love Love these! I now have the BarksBar front seat and back seat covers in my 2016 Toyota corolla and they feel durable, fit excellent, and are extremely easy to install. I will be buying these again for all future vehicles. NO more tailoring and reaching connectors underneath and around the seats to fit a cover that looks chintzy and cheap. These do not rip and tear. Do not move when you move. They fit perfectly! Originally I bought the Barksbar for my front seats and the Amazon cover for my back seats. But after installing the front covers and seeing the quality difference and how excellent they fit I returned the Amazon cover and purchased Barksbar back seat cover for just a few extra dollars. Let me tell you the difference in the way these fit and how durable they look and feel is well worth it. Front seats are completely covered except the back portion, if your worried about that you can always buy a seat kick mat. These covers have adjustable straps to connect at the bottom keeping the cover from moving when you get in and out. The option to use the hammock style for the back seat is there for animals but I have the overhang tucked within a crack under the seat so it's flush. My kids are rambunctious and these covers don't budge, very important, also spill proof! I've now had these installed for 2 weeks. Would be a really great gift that doesn't break the bank. Great product, these covers were not expensive at all. Under $50! Big bang for my buck and I am now customer for life. Two thumbs up and 5 stars on this review.

While the other brand did not live up to its expectations, this one won the gold. I was very impressed with the quality and the design. The diamond stitched design on the fabric makes the black look nice versus a bland-ish plain black. The first one I purchased had an issue where the straps were not reinforced and they tore as my puppy leaned on the canopy side of it. Barksbar does have the straps reinforced with a beautiful sleek design. The straps also stay in place when you tighten them, even if my puppy pushes against them. Also, the mesh padding on the bottom allows for the protector not to slip around. I also love the way the white bars that are supposed to be buried in between the seats to keep the cover taught are large enough so that they stay wedged. I also enjoy the thick Velcro opening that allows for the seat belt to click into place. If I would have been disappointed with the quality, I would have returned it and kept my dog riding in the front seat with no seat belt and oblivious to the harm the air bags could do if deployed, like I did the first year of her life. Instead, since this product was made with the highest quality, I kept it and it proved its worth when I was rear ended on the freeway. This product ended up saving my dogs life during a car accident! The canopy and her seat belt kept my puppy from flying through my windshield. All in all, from root to root, I gave this product 5 stars- Bravo! I also bought a second for my husband’s car with a seat belt as well. I recommend this to all the dog owners out there who want to keep their car seats clean and especially keep their dogs safe.

I purchased two of the regular sized seat covers, one for each of our cars (CX-5 and Crosstrek). They fit perfectly in both of them and even have side flaps to cover the bottom seat on all 3 sides. The Velcro seat-belt slots are perfectly placed and tight when closed. I am even able to utilize the middle seat-belt by un-clipping the shoulder restraint, slipping the waist belt across and clipping the shoulder back in. The cover does not slip off due to the holders that get inserted into the seat back and the fabric is good quality. The seat cover is a bit slippery as might be expected for such a product, but our pup is getting her footing adjusted and the hammock option keeps her from falling off the seat if there is a sudden stop (yes, she is harnessed). We also put her mat on the seat, which has non-slip backing, and that helps. The liquid resistance was tested this morning with a bit of carsickness and performed perfectly. The cover is very easy to clean and keeps those messes from getting into the seat itself. The Velcro enclosures for the seat belts can be kept closed when not in use to provide further protection, but I feel they are raised just enough to provide protection even when they are in use. Full disclosure, I did have an issue with a manufacturing defect on one of the covers where the stitching on one of the flaps missed catching both sides of the fabric and I feared it would tear. Upon providing a brief description and photo to the company, they promptly sent a replacement and kept open communication during the process. Their customer service is exemplary.

This really is a nice seat cover for the back. It keeps the dog hair in check and it's very easy to install. I have a Subaru Forester and it fits perfectly. At first, I was concerned because the cover does not go down the side of the seat, and sometimes it will move if I don't hold it down when they are jumping in. However, once my two dogs are in place, the cover stays put and so does the hair. Unfortunately, my dogs like to ride either standing on the middle console or jumping into the front passenger seat. Even in the hammock mode, this cover doesn't prevent either. I bought a "screen" to put up between the front and back seats, but then I can't use this cover in hammock mode. It lays in the floor and still protects the carpet, for the most part. The only other issue I have with this cover, or maybe it's really one of my dogs, but I've only used it four times and my dog chewed a hole in the seat portion. Because it's quilted, which is nice, she decided to go for the stuffing and started chewing on the 2 hour drive last night. By the time we got home, she had put a half dollar size hole in the cover and pulled some of the fluff out. I'm sure it will only get bigger with each trip. I'm so disappointed...not with the cover though. She just has a fetish with anything stuffed and is determined to unstuff it. I didn't even realize there was anything in the cover until she got hold of it. Not sure what to do about it. I really can't buy a new cover every other week, but I am sure she's not done with this one.

I purchased this seat cover to protect the leather back seat of my new luxury SUV and, on a recent 800 mile road trip with my 3 dogs (a rambunctious Corgi, a shedding lab mix, and a sweet Bichon mix), the seat cover worked like a charm! It protected my seats beyond my expectations, and, with the "hammock" design, none of my pups went flying into the foot wells of the car when I had to stop suddenly when someone cut me off. Plus, the hammock prevents my crazy Corgi from jumping to the front seats uninvited! The cover securely fastens to the headrests with adjustable belts and easy to use buckles. I am impressed how well the cover stayed on the seat without sliding...the sticky neoprene-like material on the bottom of the cover keeps the cover in-place at all times, and gives the cover a very strong feel and appearance of good quality. The sewing used in making the item is exceptional, and all of the edges were nicely finished with high quality edging tape and heavy duty stitching. Washing it is a breeze...after we all got home safely from our trip, I simply shook out the dog hair from the cover and threw it in my washing machine for a quick wash using the Gentle setting, and it came out just like new. As a product safety and quality control consultant in the consumer products industry, I am very pleased to say this product exceeded all my high expectations. I liked this product so much, I bought the front passenger seat cover for my car as well as the rear and front covers (all BarksBar items) for my fiancée's car too! Now, we can easily take all of our dogs (4 total) to the beach or park without worries of damaging or dirtying up our cars. I highly recommend this item from BarksBar!

We have a 70 lb Goldendoodle that LOVES to sit against the front seats so she can be as close to you as possibly without being in the front seat with you. We've tried several hammocks and none of them hold their shape like this one. She can lean against the seats and lay down without sinking below the back seats. I also love that this hammock has the clasps vs. just sliding loops for locking into place. The clasps make it easy to take in and out while keeping your distance settings. I wasn't sure how I would like the zipper in the middle with Kenzie trying to constantly lay against the front seats. It doesn't bother her, and it doesn't unzip with her weight on it. It's extremely nice and convenient when we have one person who needs to sit in the back. We upzip the one side they would sit on and the side Kenzie is on is still protected. The other hammocks we've had didn't have seat belt holes that closed so while the hammock protected the seat all the dirt would still fall through those holes. These holes are securely closed when you don't need a passenger in the back so all the dirt and grime stays in the hammock instead of falling into your seats. I also can't express how amazing the non slip bottom is. The previous ones our pup would jump into the car and be sliding all over which meant the hammock really wasn't protecting the seats. We'd take the hammock out and sure enough near both doors were muddy/dirty prints all over the leather seats due to the hammock not staying in place while loading up. This one doesn't move. She jumps in filthy after swimming or the dog park and sure enough the base stays exactly where we installed it. Amazing product! I would recommend this to anyone who is looking at a seat hammock.

Awesome product! Not high-end, fancy, leather-like and prissy. Just good, durable, non-slip and waterproof while still being comfortable to sit on. It’s simple in its design and very functional without being unsightly and embarrassing - like when you have a fitted, snow-man flannel sheet thrown over your backseat to protect it from the water and sharp, doggy toe-nails that can wreak havoc on your leather and fabric after a trip to the lake. (Don't act like you haven't done this). These are super easy to fasten to your seats and just as simple to remove when you have an unexpected guest riding in your car. I don't know how they hold up in the washing machine because, honestly, I've not needed to do more than wipe them off after daily trips to the rivers or lakes in our Colorado hometown. My 50lb and 100lb dogs love to swim and roll around in the dirt and I've only had to unsnap them twice to shake them off outside the car and wipe them off with a wet cloth upon returning home. I really wish I’d found these before I spent $250.00 on “custom” seat covers for my Acura MDX that barely fit and won’t stay on because I can’t fit my hand underneath the seat to attach the bungee hook to a bar that doesn’t even actually exist so the seat-cover stays securely in place. Ha!

I ordered both the Xlarge and the standard. Love the xlarge. It fits my husbands Dodge Ram 3500 perfectly. In addition to the actual seat there are small slip outs on each end that cover the side of the seat and protect the side by the doors. Buckles make it easy to install, love the bar that slips into the seat to help hold it in place, our St. Bernard moves a lot and the cover stays put. The fabric appears durable and it is a good thickness for the seat and back, though the front sweep that would attach to the front seat is like the thin material from the one we got at Bed Bath and Beyond (and returned). We haven't really used the front sweep feature so the thinner material doesn't bother us and the length was good on the sweep when we tried it out. After loving the xlarge I ordered the standard for my car and was disappointed. The quality was still good, and has the bars to help hold in place but it was too short by about three inches on each side for my BMW 535, which probably would have been okay but it was missing the side flap that was on my husbands that cover the sides of his seat on the ends to make up the difference. So I would rate the standard as three stars based on the short length for a "standard" as it did not fit my standard 4 door car and no slip outs on the end like the xlarge.

Really love this. Not only does it protect the seats, but I feel like if our puppy made a mess, we could easily hop out of the car and get it cleaned up before it soaked in. That's not even the best part. Having that extra coverage blocking our pup from falling in the spaces behind the seats (leg space). This was the best thing about this. The added peace of mind that, if you have to slam on the brakes (and hopefully you don't), your pup bad some huge coverage and protection by just not flying around the back seat. Highly highly recommend.

So far so good! Gives the backseat a little “extension” the way it’s hammocked, no more falling off the seat when he wants to poke his nose up front!
