Lycheers Solar Powered 100 LED Fairy String Lights for Outdoor, Garden, Home, Christmas Party, Waterproof (Multicolor)

I've had other solar lights that have done much better jobs. I ordered 4 of these and after 2 weeks one does not work at all, 2nd one only lasts about an hour (90 min if you put in flash mode) the third only lasts 15-20 minutes and the 4th gets about 2 hours. I have two other solar powered holiday lights (one is GE the other is Westinghouse); both work all night and both are about 5 years old.I live in an area that gets lots of direct sunlight and very little clouds/rain. These should have charged and held up better.On the upside, when they did work, they were bright and colorful. All in all, for 15 bucks they did ok, but I would have expected at least one holiday season's worth of 8 hour service. I'll try another product next year.

I bought for the fact they are solar and there is no outdoor plug at our house. So I decided to give it a try. Been very satisfied!! The only one that may not light are the ones on the side trellis because that area only gets 3-4 hours sun in the wintertime if it has been a gloomy day!! But the front ones are doing beautiful!!!! No more hassle with cords running in the doors (as we had to do in the past as no outdoor plugs) and no worrying about making sure the light are out at night. I really like these!!4/4/14 They are still working fine despite snow, polar cold etc... Since there is more sunlight now the one on the side trellis are on every night and once I went out early in the morning and they were still on...after 8 hours!!!

I use a lot of solar string lights in my yard to brighten up the evenings. I string them on small pine trees that I grow in pots and I also string them along the border of my garage and the canopy I have on my patio. They of course do best when the sun is shinning allday. I use clear lights most of the time but change to colored lights for the holidays. I like the portability of not having to plug into an outlet. Very bright and I would recommend them.

the lights worked great for a couple of days after that they kept blinking on and off for about an hour after sunset. Bought a new set of NiCad batteries and they would great for a day or so after that they would start to blink on and off even if you changed the setting. Found out the solar panel is not strong enough to recharge the batteries.

These suck, don't buy them. I got one strand to save on electric this month, charged it a full day and strung them on my fence in the front of the house where it gets alot of sun. When it gets dark, only half of them light up and it is a very weak light. I live a dark road and I can't even see them 10 feet away. What kind of xmas cheer is that spreading? Half-assed. Maybe I got a bad one but I am disappointed...

Not very bright at all. Good for decoration, not much else.
