I really wanted to rate this as 5 Stars. Unfortunately, after a sporadic week of use, the plastic shoulder strap fastener broke, the part that you thread through for adjusting the shoulder strap in place. I bought this a gift for my daughter’s bday, to tote the chihuahua mix around the house - literally from the family room to bedroom. We never took it on a long walk or outside the house. She had the dog in the pack (chihuahua mix, well within the large bag weight limit) and the strap popped while the dog was in it. The dog was always stationary in the bag, no moving or playing around in it. Luckily, her friend was nearby and caught the dog,

This dog carrier is very well made. The material is heavy duty, it’s a very nice looking pac. I mistakenly bought to large of a pac for my dog so I can’t say how much room there is. I returned the pac in exchange for a smaller size.
