This RAM is not working with my i5-8500 and Asus Z390-P motherboard. Dual-channel is not working. XMP is not working. What's up?

Place only one stick in the slot marked as 1A and let intel try and figure out the ram speed... It might take 3 mins of not doing anything... if it posts save default bios settings or just turn off and then add a second stick. Good luck. Not all vendor sticks work on all boards some are not compatible. ITs a bummer but you might have to tray a different vendor. I like Patriot and love OLOy for universal fit.
