Great chair
Great chair bad feet. This chair is incredibly light weight and compact. It is very comfortable for me. I am 5' 10" and weigh 210lbs. Best camp chair I have ever had. Not to say there isn't some room for improvement. One of the feet broke causing the pole to sink into the dirt. I fixed that foot with some epoxy and duck tape (from my kayak repair kit). Then one by one the rest of the feet were lost in the dirt. Pretty soon I looked like a deer taking it's first step whenever the chair was not on concrete. When I told the manufacturer about my problems with the feet. They sent me replacement feet without even asking for an invoice. I wrote them directly instead of going through Amazon. Unfortunately I had moved on before they arrived (Long kayak trip). I bought big knobbly feet for a hiking pole (Pace Maker Extended Life Vulcanized Rubber Replacement Tips/asphalt Paws Ferrules) and used them and it was great. With the new feet this chair is nearly perfect. I hope the manufacturer looks into putting something more like these on to keep the feet from sinking into the dirt. These chairs were never intended to be used in areas that have nice flat asphalt after all. With the new feet the chair is a perfect 5

Good Concept, But a Little Underbuilt
I purchased this chair because it advertised a 300-pound weight capacity. I weigh 225-pounds and wanted something with a healthy buffer when it came to design specs. During my first trip, the chair's backbone frame broke apart as I got up from the chair. The chair is covered by a one-year warranty, but obtaining a replacement chair turned out to be a complicated process. Fortunately, the customer service staff was pleasant, which made the long process more bearable. Comfort while sitting in the chair is generally good though I did feel a little constrained (I am on the slightly bigger side). The chair also does not feel substantial enough to allow much moving around in or leaning back fully. On the plus side it is light weight, goes together quickly and takes up very little space when collapsed. Overall, like the concept. While definitely not a backpacking piece of kit, the chair would be good for canoe trips and car camping. I would prefer a bit more robustness and just a bit more room.

Sturdy and light weight. Glad I bought it.
For portability and the money it’s a great buy. I weigh 187 pounds and I find the car comfortable. I ride the bus or bike so I have it with me most times for the convenience of having to sit when needed. Very light weight, sturdy for such a small frame and seat. Glad I bought it.

Perfect for long bike rides!
We bought two for longer bike rides, so we can stop and have lunch in the open space preserve where we ride. They fit great on the rack of my husband’s bike. Very sturdy and lightweight. I wouldn’t want to spend all day on one, but they meet our objective perfectly.

....Updated, this chair fell apart very quickly from daily use. I use it Moto camping on a 3 month trip, didn’t last 2 weeks. ....This is a very good chair, I did a lot of research on different makes / models of very lightweight chairs. I'm taking a 2 month motorcycle trip and needed something very light weight as space and weight is at a premium on a motorcycle. This chair fits the bill just fine. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that the seller is mis-leading in that this chair is not labeled as if you bought it from Travelchair themselves. This company that is selling the chair has their name silk screened on both the chair itself and the travel case....it says...."Spencer Aircraft". I don't have a problem with this because they are selling the chair $12 cheaper than Travelchair themselves, but , they should put this fact in the description. Still I would buy again but let people know its marked with their name/logo.

Purchase Joey Chair for size able to fit in my ...
Purchase Joey Chair for size able to fit in my motorcycle saddle bags. For a small travel chair it serves its purpose when this 210lb guy dosent want to sit in the dirt. Only complaint is the plastic feet break or pull off during the first use of the Joey Chair. I was able to find substitue feet for the chair and they work much nicer.

Comfortable, durable nice large feet!
The oversized feet are a huge benefit in the soft forrest surfaces.

OK but some issues
Four of us took these chairs to the Blues festival in Chicago, they are very light and pretty comfortable but the rubber feet on the legs came off on all four chairs. The chairs sink in the ground and the rubber feet stuck there causing us to dig them out. They need a better way to attach the feet. We also had one chair where the stretch cord came off one of the legs. This was only 2 days of use. Seems like they are made with good material but the assembly quality is questionable.

... and that they are and they go together quite easily. SO far so good Im happy
After having had a couple of old style camp chairs break down on me on a recent camping/fishing trip I decided try spending a bit more and i had seen a similar style chair to the JOEY at a local camp store(for considerably more money i might add)i wanted one more compact and that they are and they go together quite easily as well. SO far so good Im happy

Stable, but narrow and didn’t last long before a leg fell off
It’s very stable and packs down to a nice size, it’s a little narrow for me and I’m average size 32” waste, but my girlfriend says it’s comfortable for her, she’s built like a rake though. One leg fell off after around 4 months, I’m guessing it would be easy to fix at any shop that does tent repairs. I bought a Zempire spin dr for myself and find it far more comfortable, although it’s nowhere near as stable

I am 275 lb and this chair fits me and is comfortable to sit in. I have a small hydration backpack this fits into for my day hikes, not awkward or heavy to carry.
