Wow! Awesome for big kids!
If you're looking for a trike for bigger toddlers (my son is 2.5 years old and 50lbs) this is the trike for you. There is still room to grow for his legs because he is so tall and it's built STRONG. Pain to put together but the video is great (don't bother with the pamphlet it's useless). We tried the other brand trike in the store and it looked like he was riding a miniature toy rather than a real trike. This thing is the real deal. Only problem I have is unable to find how to open the battery compartment to activate the red button on the handlebar. Don't hesitate with this one. It's worth it!!

Terrible instruction brochure but awesome Trike
This trike is for kids up to 55 lbs. / age 1 to 4 years. The trike has metal frame that makes it heavy and stable, but difficult to transport in a trunk of a car.Pros:Long back support (great even for tall kids)5-point harness strap and armrest barAir inflatable tires (they make ride so smooth)Padded seat that can reclineFoldable footrestAdjustable and removable parent push handle (if you adjust the handle low then your child can push the trike himself)Convenient front wheel pedal locking systemLarge Sun CanopyRear storage with hard bottomCons:Terrible instruction brochure and lengthy assemblySome plastic parts (mud guards) are flimsy and silver paint on them might not last for longWhen I rotated the seat, it stuck because of poor attachment of safety strap under the seatPlays a single Russian song (it’s not an issue if you want your child to learn Russian)Difficult to figure out where to attach waist ends of safety harnessNo cup holdersDespite all of the cons that I mentioned above, the trike is really beautiful like a mini “Harley Davidson”.

Assembly nightmare
I purchased this trike for my grandson's second birthday and have only just finished assembling it. It took me approximately three hours to assemble, with help from my husband who had to "muscle in" the back part of the seat. If I had been on my own I would not have been able to assemble this trike. I also had to ask a question concerning attaching the safety harness which was not covered in the video. One of the "hubcaps" is misshapened but hopefully a toddler will not mind. After assembly it looks like the photograph on the website. There is no instruction book and the assembly instructions are not clear at all. Hopefully, when we use it, it will be easy to push and be enjoyable for the birthday boy. For the assembly nightmare this was for me I can only give it 3 stars but will try and update this review after we have used it for a while.

Happy with it
Not typically big on writing reviews, but realized when shopping for this that I really do rely on reviews quite a bit. As such, I was hesitant considering at the time (March 2017) there weren't very many reviews for this bike. My wife and I bought this when our son was 8 months old. At that point he was very happy that he was mobile w/ crawling and what not, and as such, didn't want to sit in the stroller and be leaning back. He'd flip himself all around in the stroller in efforts to sit up which was no good. So we thought this might work, he was getting a little heavy to throw in a bjorn style carrier so we gave this a shot.Because we thought it will basically replace the stroller we went w/ the better quality one as we wanted to have two things 1) Rubber wheels filled like a bicycle and 2) a comfortable seat. We thought if we had those plastic wheels rattling all around we'd be annoyed and it wouldn't last long. We also thought if the seat was uncomfortable he wouldn't like it.We are definitely satisfied all around. Quality is pretty good and reflects the little bit extra you pay for it compared to one of the plastic ones. Tires and seat came through for us as desired. Tires are the real deal, equivalent to those on a decent jogging stroller. Seat seems to be very comfortable for the little guy. He loves it. It has basically replaced the stroller for us. We go on walks nearly every night for about two miles w/ the little guy and the dog and he's comfortable in it, and it is holding up nicely. The "know how" for putting it together is I'd say equivalent to something like an ikea dresser. They send you a youtube video that is really helpful and shows you how to do it, and is what I relied on almost exclusively. I'm glad they did that because it is extremely helpful to see where things click in together on this bike, particularly around the front wheel. I'm not sure the paper directions would do it justice. In fact I might have found myself frustrated if just relying on paper instructions because it is important to see how things fit together on this bike. However w/ the youtube video I was able to get through it in about 40 minutes. In terms of handiness, w/ putting things together, I'm middle of the road- can fix some things but certainly am no mechanic or carpenter. So if you're really handy, it will probably take you less time. If you'd consider yourself not handy at all, you might want to ask for help.My boy is 8 months and loves it. My sister was in town w her kids, an almost 4 year old boy and a 2 year old girl. They both fit in it fine and were happy about it. So the last thing I'd say I'm satisfied with is that it will seem to age well w/ the little guy as long as it holds up, which it seems built well enough to do.

The best part is their customer service
I would never write a review but I have to share some points.First, Assembly took me so long. it is embarrassing to tell how long it took. I hope the video that Lexx Trike(youtube) provides verbal instruction than just a classic music in the background. but the end product is very satisfying. The best part is their customer service. when I opened the package, there was a tear on the handle. I took a picture of it and emailed to the seller. The seller responded right away with a solution. and I was very happy how they handle the situation.Overall, I give 4 stars because the video instruction did not meet my expectation.

Coolest Kids on the Block
This bike is simply AWESOME. My son is 18 months old and doesn't ever want to get out of it. My daughter (4yrs) loves to push him around and can do so very easily. It's also a really great alternative to a stroller when you want to put on your running shoes and go for a jog with the kids in tow. I love it, my kids love it, it's worth the price... Trust! We've gone through a few of the "cheaper" brands when my daughter was younger and none of them even closely compare to the 4in1 Lexx Trike City.
