I have and tried most of the Mountain House camp meals. All of them are high quality and perfectly suited for backpackers that need a nutritious meals yet light weight to pack. And great tasting!! The Chili-Mac Meal is one of my favorites...I get 2 full meals in a light weight pack that "cooks" in minutes. I use an alcohol stove and heat the water to just boiling and pour into the pack and seal. I like to let the pack sit for maybe 20 minutes to get the pasta to fully "cook." And then yum....great tasting meal at the camp. Super cool!!! Highly Recommended!!

It's good. It has some kick to it. I'd almost prefer a blander version, and then be able to control the spice level to what I'm comfortable with by adding to it. This is one of those meals I liked, but my gut wasn't as impressed...lol. I think I'd get it again, but not something I'd take on a remote outing where a quick trip to the bathroom requires some time and effort to plan.
