When I got this my lady wanted to try wax play and since I love giving her massages from time to time I thought a massage wax would be perfect, lord I didn't know how right I was for making this purchase. The scent is decently strong not too strong but it's pretty potent so you can smell it almost immediately after lighting it and it smells incredible! You gotta wait at least an hour before you pour, maybe longer cause the wax takes a lot longer to burn which is good in its own merit and the wick doesn't leave a strong burning scent when blowing it out. But when it was ready it cooled off almost immediately, I accidentally spilled some on my hand and it didn't even hurt, it was warm at best so it was at the perfect temp. The ingredients are amazing, perfect for all sorts of problems including acne so not only is it the perfect massage oil but it's the perfect skin remedy too my hands have never been softer! Compared to regular lotion it didn't irritate my girlfriend's skin or my hands so I had little to no problems massaging at all it really did the trick loosening up the muscles. One of the best investments I've ever made and I can guarantee I will be buying again in the future, it's small but decent sized so it came in a nice package. Definitely worth the money

The smell of the candle is soft and pleasant. The best part is the oil. Not too thick and not too light makes it perfect to use on skin

Scent was not our favorite but that's a matter of preference. The "wax" did not pill or leave waxy residue (although my wife noted that often that can be due to previously applied lotion--I have no experience in this). Pouring directly from the candle was too hot from my wife but I had no issues with the temperature. The "wax" often ran down the side of the jar so you need to have a plan for where you'll set it down. A bit pricey in my opinion, but I've never tried a massage candle before and it's nice that this one worked well.
