KoboSage PowerCover

I ordered this direct from Kobo for £70 so the current price of under £60 is pretty good I suppose, although it's still just a case with a small powerbank built in. One bonus I've recently discovered is that the combination of magnets in the cover and the Kobo is strong enough that you can stick the whole thing on your fridge door while you're cooking. Combine this with the stylus and you've got a handy shopping list notepad.

Protéger Kobo Sage contre le bris... et prolonger durée de la batterie. Cette dernière fonction n'est pas très efficace.....

L’idée de l’étui batterie est très sympa mais j’aurais apprécié une capacité qui permettent de vraiment avoir l’utilité de batterie additionnelle.N’est parfois pas reconnu par la tablette

regalo ben riuscito.. è un buon prodotto sia per materiali, che per estetica. morbido al tatto.. veste perfettamente il kobo., il quale si accende e si spegne correttamente all'apertura e alla chiusura dello sportellino anteriore.peso non eccessivo nel complesso.difetti: il pulsante accensione e spegnimento è coperto dalla cover, quindi il kobo è perennemente in standby credo, perchè è capitato che si è scaricato senza essere stato usato..e se tolgo la cover e spengo il kobo dal pulsante posteriore questo va comunque in standby non appena lo inserisco di nuovo nella cover.

I like it, and I like the price I paid on Amazon (Was only $69 CDN). If I had paid full pop, I'd rate it one star down because of value, but at the price I paid it's definitely 4 star. It's not as heavy as I expected, considerint the weight of magnets and batteries, but it brings the Sage Kobo device with cover over a pound -- that's not heavy, but it's too heavy to one hand read for long. I just pop it out when I'm reading one-handed (such as when I walk or read in bed) but then into the battery cover for a quick top up. If I'm on a table, I just leave in the case. Overall, does what it should. The metering is confusing at first, because when you plug the Sage in, the battery cover drops fast, but that's because it's charging the device -- as intended. So, it can be confusing to see the battery cover go down 20% in a half hour -- it's actually 20% that went into charging the main device (it varies depending on how charged up everything is.)Finish is nice. Magnetic mounting is perfect. Just bear in mind it's going to increase weight signficantly, so it's meant for topping up when you're not using it - or when you're using it but two handed or on a stand. If you're one-handed reading, you'll be slipping it out of the cover.
