Leeotia Cotton Fabric Flirty Women's Apron with Big Pocket in Front Used for Home Baking or Kitchen Cooking (White Style-1)

I bought this as a gift and I am so excited about giving it! I hadn't bought from this store before so I wanted to see what the apron looked like and how it felt. It is so cute! The apron strings are long enough to wrap around me and still have plenty to tie a bow. The material is sturdy and it seems well made. I'm very happy!

I was out of aprons again. Either I wear them out or they are eaten by Ox, the oversized beagle pup, who eats just about everything. My favorites were gone, and then my least favorites were gone, and I was reduced to some stained, ragged things that I had purchased for my students to wear when they were painting scenery for the school play. The last school play I directed was in 2008, and they looked pretty bad by then. Now the bottoms are torn and I don't even know why I have them; the last part to wear out is the ties, and frankly I wish they'd fail so I can throw them away without feeling wasteful. But they have no pockets--if they did they'd be gone by now anyway--and I do have some standards. Fine. I decided to protect my clothes with an inexpensive new apron.The first attempt at "inexpensive" was a total waste of money. I bought an all-black apron here on Amazon. You can probably still find it. There was almost no thread holding it together, and it fell apart in the dryer before I ever even wore it. A dark moment. So I returned to find the next-least-expensive aprons with pockets. I decided I would buy two, one to use and one to wash, or if one fell apart I would still have one remaining.Fortunately I found an excellent apron, but this isn't the one. This is the other one. This one is adequate. I'm a fat old grammy now so I figured the tie would work differently for me than the picture, and for once, being big proved to be a good thing. My apron ties don't hang halfway to my knees, and they also don't get dragged through the food. I prefer strings that tie in the back, but this is all right. But the tie strap for the neck has to be retied every time I launder it, which is irritating. I do like the floral print, though I wouldn't choose to trim it with black and white polka dots. But my main issue here is that it doesn't have terrific coverage; the pocket is one and it's wider than it is deep, which is annoying because my phone tends to tumble out the front at bad moments. And more than anything, I am annoyed because I paid two bucks more for it than I paid for a really good apron. If you want a good basic kitchen apron with sturdy pockets that will hold together till you are carried feet first from your home, go find the one with vertical black stripes reviewed by me. Now that's an apron.I don't like returning things and I don't hate this apron, but I wouldn't buy it again.

1. Returned it because it wasn't aqua as described:I searched for aqua aprons, because that is what i wanted: an aqua apron. This was supposed to be a brown and aqua apron. I forget the name of the style I purchased (it should be shown above). When it arrived the polka dots were indeed aqua and were the perfect color and shade that I wanted. Unfortunately, the pocket and the neck tie are NOT aqua, they are pale sky blue. So right off the bat the apron is clashing because the colors don't match.Also, the shade of brown on the frills and the shade of brown on the rest of the apron are different. I could have lived with the different shades of brown but since my desire was to buy an aqua apron, and instead i got pale sky blue, I had to return it.2. Quality of Workmanship:Other than colors that don't match, the apron was very cute but the stitching was just an OK job. all edges and folds were very neatly tucked in and perfectly aligned. However, they used WHITE thread on the pockets which makes it very visible on a mostly brown apron and to make matters worst the stitching goes about a half inch passed where the fabric stops so it's definitely not on the level of "sloppy" sewing, but it's not done well either.3. Material:I haven't worn an apron in years but decided to get one to wear while doing the dishes and cooking because when i lean on the sink my clothes always get wet. Also, sometimes food splatters on me while cooking. That said, this fabric would have been fine to take on splashes of food while cooking. However, the fabric was too thin and not absorbent so had I worn it while doing the dishes I would have still gotten my clothes wet underneath. The water would have gone right through it.Overall, I wouldn't recommend this apron, unless you just want something cute and fun to wear in the kitchen or maybe while serving during a party.

So cute!!! The pockets are a good depth, and the fabric doesn't slip when you tie it. The waist tie is big enough to wrap around for the bow in the front, even if you're a plus size.Cons:-Fades just a little bit with first wash.- top is a little small for busty women

This is a really nice apron for the price! It arrived quickly and the fabric and color is nice. It's lined on the inside making it look nicer than I expected. The ties are REALLY, REALLY long. Like I could wrap them around myself at least 3 times. Not necessarily a bad thing though. I only gave 4 stars for durability and sturdiness since this is just simple cotton. I don't see it making it through the laundry hundreds of times. But it's still very nice and reminds me of some that my grandma used to make.

I love this apron! It's stylish and comfortable and the tie is super long, which is so nice for this plus size gal. Great buy for the price. Nice quality!

Very pretty same as the picture. Material was very stiff and scratchy. I washed it before wearing hoping it would soften up but after washing, it was still stiff and scratchy (and now wrinkly). I think a better softer wash and wear material could have been used. Also the tie around the neck could have been a little longer to make it easier to slip on and off without tying and retying every time AND the tie around the waist could have been a little shorter. I wrapped it around my waist twice and still had a long tail. I'm a size medium/8. I might have read more reviews and/or looked around a little more before purchase.
