The Case Study of Vanitas, Vol. 1 (Volume 1)

When I saw in a magazine that Ms. Jun Mochizuki is making a manga about steampunk and vampires, I knew I had to check it out. I enjoyed her previous series, Pandora Hearts, and so far I'm enjoying this one too. I also have a weakness for white-haired anime/manga boys ❤ As far as the story goes, it's the usual vampires vs humans, (though it's not the main focus) but I'm hoping something more will come of this particular story. The artwork is beautiful and distinct enough that I knew it was Ms. Mochizuki when I saw it in the magazine. The book itself has a nice feel and smell as well. For the main characters, they have a dynamic (Vanitas wants Noé to be his "shield" but Noé is only following him for the book) that play off each other's personalities, though both have had lighthearted (and cute) moments as well. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I like it!

My friend picked up this book from the library around 3 years ago when the series was kinda small, and as I start to grow a manga collection, I thought that the release of the animation was a good indicator that this book belongs in my possession and I’m so happy I got it! Very swag low key queer-coded hot vampires, hella good lore and BEAUTIFUL artwork please please buy it rn its so good I swear. The book came in good condition 100/10

I saw the anime and I fell in love with Vanitas. I wanted to read manga and I just love it. Vanitas is my fave. I can't wait to read more.

The humour in this manga didn’t tone down the eerie feeling I got. The laugh is real. Noe’s lack of knowledge in Vampire but stronger in strenght than Vanitas and Vanitas wide knowledge of Vampire but weaker than Noe make this duo very interesting. 1st chapter already hooked me up in this series

This volume was wonderful and makes a great introduction to very intriguing characters. A good start to a hopefully another good vampire manga and I hope to enjoy the rest of the series, having read the mangaka's previous series pandora hearts

Love the product, it came in a month too late and I missed it for my significant other’s birthday. Keep in mind when buying.

The art is gorgeous, and the characters are very lovable. Even though I've already watched the anime and it was pretty true to the manga, I still enjoyed reading because the story is just that good. I'll be buying the later volumes as well. :) <3

the manga itself is really good with nice art and it even includes a few coloured illustrations as well as an extra which wasn't in the anime. solid 10/10. the shipping was okay, but a corner did arrive folded. other than that, i have no complaints.

So I've been debating Pandora Hearts for soooo long because I can't decide whether or not I'm going to enjoy it as I've heard mixed things. At some point during that debate I spotted this, and I immediately knew I was going to love it. I have such a love for Steampunk I couldn't say no and I finally got round to reading it and I am in LOVE! It has such a cool take on vampires, and I'm intrigued to learn more about them and the little problem they have! Honestly vampires in ya are all the same and so over done but personally, I've found something different in this manga! The story is engaging and entertaining, each chapter left me wanting more and left me excited to see what was going to happen next and where this story was going to go. I mean just the first chapter....what an opener! I loved the characters, they're lively and entertaining and I'm desperate to know more about Vanitas and Noé! Not to mention others I could mention! And the artwork....its just stunning. I loved it. I'm reading the book and it's just so gorgeous with these decadent little touches here and there and my God. The airship! I want one! This is genuinely my new favourite manga and I loved it so much I'm actually battling autocorrect and typing this on my phone! Check it out, I promise you won't be disappointed! Definire The case study of Vanitas capolavoro è riduttivo. Ho purtroppo dovuto comprare il formato kindle perché quello cartaceo è ormai praticamente. introvabile, e la risoluzione del file è ahinoi bassa, ma l'opera della Mochizuki è davvero inarrivabile.
