Simple. Easy. Cute. Everything you expect from amigurumi!
This book is clean, well-organized, and has patterns that are easy to follow. I've come across more than one amigurumi piece that left me scratching my head over a half-finished product (in particular, a train amigurumi project), but such a fate in highly unlikely with this gem of a book. What I really like about these patterns, though, is that this stuff is not only cute, it's useful. When I say useful, I don't just mean, "Look, I made an oven mitt or a coaster I'll never use!" Now, I love amigurumi, but there's only so much room in my house for useless, cute little dolls. With this book, I can make lunch bags, purses, book bags, and other such things. It says it's for kids, but you could easily adjust the patterns for adult-sized merchandise. Now, the only project I made from this so far is the turtle lunch bag. (I know, I'm raving after only making one of thirty, but I'm in grad school. What do you want from me?) It's cute and functional, but you're definitely not going to fit a Hungry Man in there. This is more for small pieces, like a sandwich, fruit, chips, etc. If you're the type, it'll certainly fit a bento box, although no the big square ones that I saw men using while in Japan. All in all, it's definitely worth the price to grab these patterns, and I'm saying that as a Pinterest-addict who pins free patterns all the time. I'd definitely recommend the ebook over the print version. I got the ebook, and it's simple beautiful on both my Kindle and my Samsung tablet. Plus, it had the added benefit of not having to be creased or held down to stay on the page I wanted.

Great patterns!
I absolutely love this book! The patterns are easy to follow, pretty quick to churn out, and the end result is always adorable. The one flaw I'd like to point out, is that some of these patterns are supposed to be bags for little kids. However, most have been much too big for my kiddo to carry. If making for a preschooler or kindergartner, I strongly recommend, going down a hook size or two. Otherwise, this book is great.

Love Ana Paula Rimoli
I have three of her books now and her patterns are adorable and easy to follow. Any level of experience crocheting could easily complete these projects! I made my daughter a little drawstring purse (the cupcake) and she loves it! I plan on making the pencil cases as gifts for some of our friends kids too. Great book! Check out her other pattern books, so cute and worth it!

Easy peasy!
I love the patterns for the backpack featured on the front. I used different colors and embellishments to make a "very hungry caterpillar" backpack. However, even though I checked my gauge, it is huge! (Even after going down 3 needle sizes). It is ok size for 5 or 6 yr old, but enormous for my 2 yr old. Having done one now, I think I can reduce things a bit for a younger child.

awesome patterns, simple instructions, good results
So far I've made two backpacks from this book. They turned out adorable, just like the pictures in the book! The directions are simple, and I'm excited about a lot of the patterns in the book.

I love this book
This is the first crochet book I have ever purchased as a learning crocheter, and the patterns are simple but so cute. They keep me motivated to learn new things. I have to make the whale bag!

This book has some great designs and patterns for the crochet fancier. The backpacks and pouches are well explained and patterns are easy to follow. A nice book of designs for kids.
