Does NOT fit A4988 Pololu Stepper Driver
The description does not say/imply it fits the driver. Amazon linked it together as a "Frequently Bought Together" recommended package. It does NOT fit the A4988 Pololu stepper motor driver. It either hits the surface mount parts or the header pins. I will probably cut it down to make it work. The size in the description would indicate that it wouldn't fit, but I thought since others were purchasing it, it must clear the parts on the board. This was not the case. I am giving it three stars because I can't say that I love it and it wouldn't be fair to say I hate it. I think I need something closer to 9mm-10mm.

great value
These are great multi-purpose heatsinks. While they may be meant for the xbox, they can be used in so many other applications.I added an image to the product gallery where i applied one of them to the WiFi module of the UDOO Development board (udoo dot org). It brought the surface temperature down by an avg of 12 degrees (F).Raspberry Pi: These Heatsinks are a tad larger than the main CPU on this board, but not by much, They can be used on this board without issue to allow for more safe overclocking. They are low profile enough to still work fine with most cases.BeagleBone Black: These are perfectly sized to fit on the main chip of the BBB, which is slightly larger than the RasPi. Can be used without issue on the BBB, and they are low profile enough to still work fine with most cases.pcDuino (v1/v2): These are a bit smaller than the main chip of the pcDuino, but will still work pretty good. from what i can tell these will work just fine. I havent personally put on on my pcDuino but visually, they will match up ok, and cover most of the main CPU and again it will still be low profile enough to still work fine with most cases.UDOO: The UDOO comes with main CPU Heatsinks on both the dual and quad core models, but as i noted above these work well being applied to the WiFi module, and 2 of them size by side will cover almost all of the SAM3X8 chip of the Arduino Due part of the UDOO and ships without no heatsink. (no proof yet that one is actually needed)

but the quality of the heatsink is not as good as the ones that come with other kits
Product is as pictured, but the quality of the heatsink is not as good as the ones that come with other kits. They do the job just fine though i guess

Heatsinks only for launch generation
These heatsinks are very nice. I bought the four pack, and, upon opening my xbox, discovered I can only use two of them. With the release of the Xbox 360 Elite, the CPU heatsink is longer and covers two of the four RAM chips. Still, overall, they are a very decent set.

Good heat sinks but the adhesive used is not thermally conductive.
I had to strip off the old adhesive and put on my own. These worked great for my USB ASIC block erupters. You only need two of them. One on the processor and one on the 3V regulator.with out the added heatsink the processor would get up to 125F!!!Now with the heat sink and a small fan it stays about 70F in a 68F room.

Easy peasy
Easy stuff! Pull the backing paper off the adhesive and stick them wherever you want to extract a little heat. These don't work on kids though. My daughter had a 104 degree fever, put 4 of these on her head, nothing. I did put these on some of my Xbox chips when I did the reinforcement kit and they seem to work great for that. So, just remember... Computer chips = good. Kids head = bad.Especially when they go tell mommy dad's being weird again like a little tattle-tail....

Meh....
Meh, they are heatsinks, my xbox had 6 chips but i used 'em anyway. even after using a heatgun to reflow the 2 big chips it will run for a while and RROD again..... not the heatsinks fault.
