Wow! This is the best investment that I’ve made for my hair other than good product and a decent hairdryer. I never learned how to do my hair when I was younger (raised by dad!) so this tool really helped me “feed two birds with one hand”. I am able to smooth my hair while giving it a nice curl and it’s so easy to use. I like the size and weight of it. It’s lightweight enough and I appreciate the easy heat temperature controls + lock button being so tactile. Overall, I could not be happier!

This flat iron is incredible, I love it, but I might have low standards. The flat iron I currently share (NOT this furiden one) has giant cracks in one of the plates from falling. This leads to us angling our hair and avoiding the spot as best we can, but its obviously caused damage. Its an old, mall-kiosk flat iron, very nice. Basic first: item arrived on time, clearly new, never used. Box is beautiful, comes with 2 clips, one glove, one little velvety bag, and a cheap rat tail. This new Furiden iron has amazed me. First of all ots beautiful and sleek looking. It has a lock, which I like. It has floating plates which I love, I dont think the description says it directly so I was worried because I only wanted it with the moving plates. Also, the thing heats up quick. Anecdotal evidence: I rotated the dial to turn this bad boy up to 355° when I was ready to try it out. After a second or two, I decided I wanted to check out the floating plates one last time (not even joking). I turned it off after the 2 seconds, went to poke at the plates, and immediately burned the mess out of myself. Maybe im dumb, Or maybe this thing heats up super fast. Maybe both. Anyways the thing heats up quick. Only downside is that i would ask for smaller intervals in the temperatures. The dial jumps up by about 40° each turn. Its not a big deal, im just picky. Flat iron moves through hair easy, not one snag ! My old one snagged a lot, this guy doesnt even get caught on the scraggly split ends I refuse to trim off. Also its beautiful. I thought it would be obnoxiously round, and too big to maneauver, with the dial constantly rolling. But its not, its awesome. The dial clicks into place. Cord is a fine length. No complaints. My hair is 3a/3b curly. Straightened hair very nicely very shiny. No snags. 2 passes max at 410. Also curled hair very well. Not really sure what the bad reviews are about, they really worried me, but with the easy return I figured I could just do that if it was that bad. But its not, I love it. Bottom line: This iron is pricey, but if youre still using your five year old, mall-kiosk, cracked flat iron, its time to switch and this is the one. I did NOT receive any discount or offer for this. For your information: I have been looking for 2 in 1 hair straightener that is similar to 'TYME Iron'. So I chose this one since there are many positive review. I'm not getting pay to do this but I would like to share my experience. I have thick hair and some what a little dry since I dye my hair often. My favorites: 1. The product is very well design and it came in very nice. It came with 2 hair clips, a hair brush, a glove, and nice pocket bag for the straightener 2. It heats up super fast and very HOT! 3. I brushed/sprayed my hair with TRESemme heat protection and I split my hair into sections and straighten my hair. The result came out perfect!! It was very smooth and not making weird noises. 4. It doesn't make my hair smell weird or anything. It smells like a a smell after you straighten your hair, maybe other costumers have different opinion on this. Dislike: 1. I tried to curl my hair using this Straightener. I'm not sure if I'm doing it wrong or what but It doesn't curl very well. It somewhat curl my hair super lose curl JUST LIKE my old regular straightener, but you can tell that my hair look horrible. I recieved a costumer service email from Furiden and they suggested me one of the review of this straightener video on amazon plus gave me another youtube video for tutorial. I have to admit their costumer service is awesome. So I tried again to curl my hair after I watched the vids, the result somewhat came out 'okay' but you can tell that's still not as curl as I expected like the (TYME Iron). If you want a super lose curl (didn't last very long), natural this hair 2 in1 straightener is for you, but if you expected ' only 5-10 mins of curling (actual curling)' like TYME Iron, this might not be the the option for you. Basically what i'm trying to say is what it is doing for curling, any other straightener can do it to. You don't need to pay $60 for it.

This hair straightener is perfect for straightening hair or also using as a curler as it has a rounded barrel. Very easy to use for either style. The heat source is the best, working at a high temperature without damage to your hair. Best purchase ever!

Love this item. I use it daily. Makes perfect, smooth, beachy curls and even straightens. Heats nicely and quickly.
