Lovit Scientific Silicone Baking Mat + Pastry Mat Bundle

When I first started baking many years ago I didn't like silicone bake ware, I thought it was some phase that they were going to pull because it leached chemicals.. I'm happy they don't and I wish I would have trusted them sooner! The baking silicone mat is amazing, it doesn't matter how sticky your baked goods are, it lifts off without trouble (those are floorless oatmeal cookies in the photo, they're soft and somewhat sticky but gooey cinnamon buns come off just easily). Another nice thing about using silicone mats to bake with, if your baking sheets aren't thick and you get hot spots on them, a silicone mat can help balance the heat so nothing burns. I am going to review the pastry rolling mat when it's cold enough to not melt my pie dough as I'm making it, but so far it looks like it is going to make pie making much easier as I won't need to guesstimate the size I'll need. I'll update when that happens!Update: it's still too hot to make pie but I wanted pie anyways. The pie dough rolled right off the mat and it did make the sizing for the pie plate easier, it also helps to make cleanup a breeze!I received this product at a discount for my unbiased review however my opinions are always solely my own. This made it so easy to measure and do baking. Very easy surface to use and clean . It is arrived quickly and is everything promised in descriptions. For some one who bakes it is a must have.

nice size, works great

I was offered this product at a discount in exchange for an honest review.I bought this instead of purchasing a new cookie pan as my older pan now sticks and does not cook as evenly as I would like. This set fit the bill perfectly, though I would prefer to have an additional baking sheet, so I may purchase an additional one separately, as I don't need two pastry mats.The silicone baking sheet works just as advertised, none of our Christmas cookies burnt and all were easy to remove. I also tried this out with crescent rolls and biscuits and it worked equally well. It cleans up easily, I just wiped it down with hot soapy water and rinsed and with drying it was ready to use again in under a minute.The pastry mat is better than I expected. It sticks in place extremely well on our granite countertops, I can't say how well it will function on other materials. I do wish the pastry may was a little larger, but that may just be me.Additionally, note that all measurements are metric, while that doesn't bother me, it may someone else, so I wanted to mention it.

This is a great set, I actually totally forgot that I never submitted a review for this item. I had to contact the seller during checkout with a minor glitch, and they went above and beyond to get me taken care of. I mention this first, because a great product and great seller with exceptional customer service is very important.What I like about this set is that I finally have a mat to roll out dough, cookie batter, and similar things. This sure beats parchment paper, or having a huge mess to clean up. One thing I noticed is that the measurements are metric. This isn't an issue for me because I primarily use it for the surface, not for the measurements. Then we have the cookie sheet. This is a great quality silicone mat. The best thing is that this set provides you a place to prep the thing you are going to bake, and also the surface to bake it on. I have quite a few various types of mats, but this is the one and only one that comes with another item like this one does.I think most people who might be looking at this already are familiar with the purpose of silicone mats, but I will sum it up quickly. You use this instead of lining with parchment paper or greasing the pan, It is easily cleaned off and things will not cake and stick on it like they will a traditional cookie sheet. This is also great to make use of cookie sheets that are no longer non-stick, since this is placed on the cookie sheet. I highly recommend to everyone to try baking with silicone mats...it really makes it so much better to get things off and makes post-baking cleaning so much faster!I want to disclose that I received this at a discount for my evaluation, opinion and review. sturdy, great color and does the job for bakeing goodies

What an amazing set! Both items are top notch quality and obviously extremely functional. The pastry mat stays put (doesn't slide under my kneading) and is big enough to comfortably roll and cut on. It measures approximately 19.5 x 15.5 inches. It includes measurements on the mat for various uses, but the measurements are in centimeters. The mat it easily cleaned with a touch of soap and water. Make sure to dry it with a lint free cloth because the silicone is sticky enough that the lint will stick to it. The baking mat was too large for any of my baking sheets. I ended up finding a non-stick baking sheet on sale that would fit the baking mat (11x17), so I bought it. :) Now I can bake more cookies at a time and not have them stick. I love the easy clean up with the this mat plus they don't over brown on the bottom! I have a feeling I'll never bake without this little treasure again!
