I may have gotten something spoiled if everyone else has liked their shampoo. Mine was sticky, did not lather and stunk to high heaven. What I put on my hair to try, took forever to come out, and the smell stayed even when I used a different shampoo to correct it.

The first time I used this I was impressed with the lather and how clean my hair felt after. I couldn’t get past the smell though. It’s very strange. I can’t figure out what it is but the best comparison I can come up with is the white milky stuff that comes out of dandelion stems. It’s not disgusting but I wouldn’t say it’s pleasant either. I definitely don’t like carrying that scent around all day. The next 2 times using it, it didn’t seem to lather as well and I had to use more of it. It did still make my hair feel clean though. But then I started to develop the really painful and deep pimples around my hairline that some shampoos do to me so I won’t be using it anymore. Also I know sulfate is a big thing in the shampoo world right now and this one’s second ingredient is sodium laureth sulfate so if you’re avoiding that ingredient i would avoid this shampoo. Overall I did not like this shampoo and wouldn’t recommend mainly because of the scent.

Not a huge fan of the scent of this shampoo in the bottle. It reminds me of some other hair product and I just can’t quite place it. Once it’s in and shampooed, however, it smells nice and not overly strong. I used this in my semi-permanently purple and brown hair. I usually double shampoo even with colored hair. This is nice and lightweight. I followed up with a purple conditioner, which sort of defeats the purpose of a volumizing shampoo. Does as claimed, not heavy, no residue. I wonder about the uv protection and won’t be able to test it until summer. I’m concerned about my gray/white hairs turning yellow– which can happen as a function of UV damage. I usually wear a hat in the sun, but sometimes I just want to soak up the vitamin D.

Really like this shampoo. Leaves hair clean and shining.

So disappointing after having great results with past Sally Hershberger lines. This and the conditioner left my hair flat and dull.

Beautiful scent, my favorite shampoo!

I love the 24 K get gorgeous, however I find the shampoo makes my hair a bit dry. Still love the product!
