These bulbs do not work with a "Smart Dimmer".
The listing for these bulbs indicates that they are dimmable, and in the Q&A section, one answer indicates that using a "LED" capable dimmer is necessary.I am using a house full of Leviton DZMX1-1LZ dimmers, which are LED compatible.I have 3 bathrooms with vanity lights that all have 100 watt equivalent (72 watt) halogen bulbs. The master bath has 6 bulbs, so it gets pretty warm when they are on all the way. The bulbs hang down in the fixture and are exposed, so I like clear bulbs instead of frosted ones. The rest of my house is LED, and these rooms were the last to get "LED-ified"...When I installed them in my master bath, (total of 6 bulbs) they would not completely shut off. I have other lights in the house with only 1 100 watt equivalent LED and work perfectly, I have fixtures with 3 60 watt equivalent LED bulbs that also work perfectly.I would not recommend these if you are using a "Smart Dimmer".

Exceeds Expectations
I purchased this bulb for an outside fixture by our sliding glass door. My specifications were long lifetime, clear bulb to get more output and high lumens. This bulb delivered on all 3 items. The light output is about 3 times brighter than my 100v incandescent bulb and covers 4 times the distance. The vintage look of the filament gives it a high class look. The published lifetime is 25,000. Our fixture was installed 9-19-16 so time will tell. It took a long time to find this bulb. Most LEDs are lower voltage and shorter lifetime for fixture usage. Very few bulbs are clear glass with a large angle to project light. This light has a 360 degree beam angle light pattern and it comes through big time at night.

It's OK but not really the equivalent of a 100 watt bulb, not even as bright as the 75 watt incandescent clear bulb it replaced.

Five Stars
Looks great in my post light, Led efficiency without giving up style.Original review was five stars - see above. Loved this light but less than six months after install it is flickering off and on. Put it in two other fixtures and same thing. This is an expensive bulb, but attempts to find warranty information have failed. I cannot find a phone number to contact Amazon customer service which I consider a one star event. I buy often from Amazon so I am really frustrated when I cannot get in touch with someone to discuss my problem.

Very picky with dimmers. Works great with Lutron CTCL-153PR-WH dimmer.
Doesn't feel like 100W, but it's one of the brighter Vintage LED options at 10W, and it does dim. This light, and all of these vintage LEDs are super picky with dimmers. I had to go through 2 different dimmers before I found on that worked with this one.If you are planning on dimming this LED (it does dim really nicely!) I'd suggest the Lutron CTCL-153PR-WH - I got it at Home Depot for about $24.Good luck!

Terrible - not anywhere near 100W equivalent as advertised.
Unfortunately, I did not test these bulbs until a couple days after the return window closed. So now I have 4 expensive light bulbs that are useless to me. They are advertised as 100W equivalent bulbs. They are no where near 100W equivalent. They are perhaps 40W - 60W equivalents. I am totally unsatisfied with this purchase and do not recommend them for anyone looking for a bright bulb equivalent to 100W. The picture shows a white floor directly below the light bulb. It is absurdly dark.

Awesome vintage-style light!
I bought this bulb as I was in need of a light over my kitchen sink. I used a corded light socket that I hung from a ceiling hook. It is the great industrial look I was going for. The 10W bulb also provides a good amount of light, which tends to be the issue with some of the other LED vintage/edison style bulbs. Also being a LED bulb, the power consumption is extremely low, which allows me to leave it on in the kitchen for the entire evening as an accent light without worrying about breaking the bank.

Three Stars
not really equivalent to 100W incandescent. Just not that bright.
