I recently discovered that the christmas lights I purchased for decorating my home didn't seem to be working right. They looked great on the front of the box, but when I opened it up, they were not illuminated. Must be a bad batch, I thought. So I bought another. And another. AND ANOTHER. I made 83 trips to the local Target in hopes of finally sparking my now-diminished holiday cheer. Well it was on my 84th trip when I thought to ask the clerk about my repetitious problem. As it turns out, you need ELECTRICITY to illuminate the product. HOW WOULD ANYONE KNOW THAT IF IT'S NOT ON THE BOX?!?!? So obviously my next question was probably the very same that you're asking yourself right now; Where do I get that?? "What aisle would I find this e-leck-triss-itty in?" I asked the kind man. it was well after midnight by the time I left the store, now with an understanding of how lights make pretty sights for my eyes. And that's where this extension cord comes into the story. I owe all of my gratitude and joy to this bad boy. I can plug in MORE than just one thing, and the power goes in one end, and out the other. UH-MAZING. Just make sure you don't wear your favorite metal robot costume hands when you're plugging it in. i did that. It hurt, but now I've finally achieved that new hairstyle I was going for. My lights are glowing, my home is alive, and my spirits are as bright as the heavens. Thank you little cord savior.

I USED THIS TO REPLACE A SHORT ONE ON A CHEAPLY MADE FLOOR STANDING LAMP THAT I FOUND AT THEREFUSE AREA OF OUR COMMUNITY. UPON SEEING IT, I IMMEDIATELY KNEW THAT IT'D BE PERFECT IN OUR GARAGE IN WHICH I DO MANY PROJECTS. IT HAD MERE 6' CORD. I MODIFIED THIS NEW CORD BY CUTTING OFF THEFEMALE END, THEN PROPERLY SPLICING IT WITH WIRE NUTS. THE SPLICE IS RECESSED IN THE BASE. NOW, THELENGTH OF T HE CORD'S 20' FROM THE OUTLET. WELL WORTH THE COST.

Needed the extra length of this extension cord to complete installation of a powered antenna located some distance from the nearest outlet. Plug and play!

My husband thinks I have an addiction to extension cords. I look like an FSM, I have them everywhere. I got this one because our new house has light switches in the stupidest places, no where a logical person would every put a lamp. I figured I could use this one for the den. String it from the lightswitch to the lamp which is literally on the opposite side of the room. When it came in, of course my husband had a fit. I went looking for this and it is gone. He took it outside for his shed. I asked for it back and got that look along with,,,but it works perfect! He gets to keep it, I will order another one.
