My young grand kids (5 & 7 yr old) found this very interesting and asked lots of questions. The pencil drawings are brilliant too.

I gave the Louis Armstrong biography to inspire one of my students. He loved thr book!

I checked this book out from my digital library and read it to my grandchildren at bedtime one night. The next time I babysat, this was their number one request so I checked it out again. When they requested it a third time, I purchased the book to have in my library. My grandson was so caught by the story of Louis Armstrong that he did further research on Armstrong for his 2nd grade school report and received an A. I've since read the book to them a number of times so it continues to be a favorite!
