Question 1

I need to know there weight of the item and the dimensions of the shipping box. Thanks

Accepted Answer

As I recall, the shipping box was maybe 4-5" larger than the statue itself in each dimension. The weight is modest - maybe 30-40 lbs. Looks much heavier than it is. We love ours - a great focal point for the garden.

Question 2

Can this be placed outdoors for long periods of time?

Accepted Answer

It's made of Resin and found this info online.Resin is a remarkably durable substance that is fast becoming the material of choice for the production of garden ornaments. Resin has the appearance of metal and the feel of wood. It is much lighter in weight than concrete or stone and offers heightened detail.Caring for your Resin StatueResin garden statues may be placed outdoors in your contemplative garden or indoors on your altar. If you place your resin garden statue indoors, you'll want to rinse off the fine surface dust. This is best done by placing the statue in your shower or by hosing it down. You may leave your garden statue outside in the winter, although we choose to bring ours indoors here in the Northeast. Because the extreme cold or heat can damage the statue, we recommend that you not place your statue on a surface that absorbs a lot of heat in the summer (like blacktop), and rather place it in an area with some shade. We also recommend that you place your statue on a stone base. A stone base not only raises the statue and protects it from weed-whackers and lawn-mowers, but also provides a base that won't hold moisture that could freeze in the winter and cause the statue to crack. If left outside, your statue will weather and develop a unique character all its own. And, with proper care, you can expect your resin garden statue to last many years.

Question 3

What is the depth of this piece? I want to make sure it will fit in my base. Thanks

Accepted Answer

The base is a triangle being 19 1/2 wide and 18" deep..you will love this Budah. I just measured it in inches

Question 4

How much does this statue weigh?

Accepted Answer

The statue is lightweight, not heavy to carry. Large piece, weighs less than 30 lbs. not a cement piece, it is a cast material, but won't blow away. I have mine outside in the garden, it is beautiful and in a great place, and gives you a feeling of serenity and peace. I will take it in for the winter, as I will my other pieces which are around the property. I hope you will really enjoy this Buddha as much as I do.
