Magazine Speed Loaders for Kel-Tec Pistol Magazines

Made loading KelTech PMR-30 22 Magnum 30rd magazines much easier.

Very happy with this piece. Makes loading the difficult PMR-30 mags much easier. The unloading tool that's incorporated is surprisingly useful, as I often unload mags for one reason or another.

I like this loader because the Kel Tec magazines that this is made for can be difficult to load by hand. The only drawback with this loader is that you have to be very careful loading the last 2 or 3 rounds because the loader will dent the casing if the cartridge case is not in exactly the right position. It took me a few times of loading to get this figured out. My advice is to take your time when it starts getting harder to push the cartridges down.

Easy to use, magazine specific, which is good! I load about five rounds and then tap the magazine to seat the rounds against the back of the magazine, then load five more and do the same thing until it's full.

Works great and would recommend

A lot - and I mean a LOT - of failures reported are from rimlocking rounds during loading. This can either cause failures to feed or simply jam up the magazine. Don't forgot - even when using a mag loader - to tap the back of the mag sharply after loading 3 rounds or so. Yep, at least ten taps. This will virtually eliminate rimlock and bring your PMR30 to 100% reliability. I've fed over four hundred rounds through both of mine without a SINGLE malfunction - after drilling the tap tap tap routine into my skull. As for this loader? I'm not sure it really speeds the process up, but it sure takes a lot of wear and tear away from your thumb and helps align rounds properly - and that alignment improvement alone is worth buying one for. In fact I've just ordered another for backup, but my original is still going strong.

Interesting little tool. It definitely helps loading PMR-30 mags but it doesn't make it as effortless as some other reloading tools. This pushes down the rounds in the magazine so you can easily slide the next round through the opening in the lips and slide it back. It gets a little strange though, because you can only slide the round back until it hits this device. Then you have to let up on the device (now the spring in the mag is pressing on the round that's half way into the mag) and push that round all the way to the back. We'll have to see how much this helps FTF problems on the Kel-Tec. I'm averaging a FTF every 20 rounds with hand loading. Hopefully this helps.

The Keltec 22 mag for PMR30 are miserable to.load.. To load 30 rounds is very difficult. This specific speed loaded is well worth the cost. I now can have full magazines. I do not know about the other calibers or maker of other magazines but for the Keltec this is a necessity. Highly recommend.

Not quite as smooth-sailing as the videos indicate I've seen but it does get the job done. Maybe it'll go better with time and familiarization...
