This is a gorgeous holster. The leather is thick and durable. The construction is top-notch. I feel like I should upgrade the pistol to match the quality of this beautiful rig. I use this holster for a 4-inch EAA .357 Mag. The pistol is just a tiny bit small but the fit is still very nice. If I ever do upgrade to something more prestigious, this holster will make a fine home for it.

Purchased this holster for my Ruger GP100. The initial fitment is too tight to be functional. I followed a recommendation to wrap the gun in plastic grocery bags and stove it in the holster to force the leather to exand. I left it like that overnight. In the morning i removed the gun from the holster, unwrapped it from the plastic bags, and reholstered it. The fitment was perfect.So far i have no complains is a really nude and quality holster.

Perfectly formed out of the package. Rides high and close for optimal concealment. Money well spent.

I absolutely love these holsters. I own 3 of these for various revolvers. All the way up to a Ruger .454. They feel like they will last for the lifetime of my guns

Great holster! My Ruger 10mm revolver fit perfectly right out of the box. FYI…it does sit a little high.

Kimber K6s .357 Magnum Target 4" barrel with front site and hammer fit this holster beautifully. I was not happy with Kimber holster at $190 and "tension screws" in leather holster to customize fit. Also, the "all leather" Combat holster from Kimber does not fit the Target due to front sight. This 1791 holster is the same high quality standard as Kimber, does not include "screws", and costs less. Hope this helps. The K6s Target is a dream...this 1791 holster is its companion product.

This is a quality production holster, well built with heavy leather. It was advertised for a 3” barrel gun witch fits but would work with a 4” gun also. Not a big deal but I would have preferred a holster for a true 3” barrel for CCW so the bottom wouldn’t show beneath my untucked shirt. If purchased strictly for field carry or open carry it would be fine.

Fits the s&w 686+ like a glove, and fits on a belt just fine.
