STRONGBACK Camping Chair Guru with Lumbar Support, Lime Green

I am amazed at how good this chair is. I have had back surgery and require special chairs to be comfortable. This chair is a real winner in my book and I had to share this with everyone today. I was sitting in the sun , and for the first time was able to get up out of the chair without struggling. The height is a little better, the arms support you enough. Mostly , when I stand up my back does not hurt. That is amazing for a folding chair .this chair is really well designed. I had to share this since I can show my cheap chair that hurts me, and the new one. My old cheap chair looks great , is great actually unless you have a bad knee and back. It sinks in a little, and has less support in the arms so that you struggle to get out. This was a real problem for me since I can’t be in pain like that simply for sitting. This new chair has a design . It has a well shaped frame in back that supports your back. The chair is strong and does not sag, and settle in as you are sitting. There is a distinct difference in these 2 chairs. I would buy the cheap ones for kids and normal everyday use and keep this one special just for me. That is why I wrote this review this chair is that good. I weigh too much for this chair at 350 pounds and that too speaks to its build quality.

After sitting in a cheap camping chair for 30 minutes watching a parade, I knew there had to be a better way. My back hurt for 2 days! I bought this chair, hoping it would be a bit better, even though it seems expensive. I took it out of the nice bag, unfolded it in 5 seconds and sat in it. WOW!! My back was so happy and even after 30 minutes it was good. The seat could be a bit softer but it needs to be like that so you sit up comfortably I think. It folds back nicely for carrying, had a larger size seat and back so I can shift around a bit and looks to be fairly high quality. Overall, I love it and just ordered another one for my wife. ps, one screw was a little 'rough' and I hit it with a file for a second, all good now.

Love this chair! It really does support my back like no other camping or lawn chair I've tried.

The chair is solid and provides very good lower-back support compared to most folding/camp chairs I've used. However, the seat is quite narrow across. I'd only recommend for smaller adults or kids. The Elite version of this chair looks to be a bit wider. I also purchased the STRONGBACK Low Gravity Beach Chair with Built-in Lumbar Back Support, which I like better overall, particularly because it's less than 1/2 the weight and is wider. However, that one is low to the ground, which could be a problem to get in/out of for some people. We ended up keeping both, as my wife likes the taller chair.

This camping chair is worth the price, your back will thank you. We got 1 to try it and now everybody wants to sit in it. We go camping a lot and it is the most comfortable chair I sat on so far. We just got another one and we'll get more. It has amazing back support which stays ( we have the first one a year now ) and it is like new still. Easy to transport and pack, color blue is great and they have a smaller person size and "regular" both are great. Easy to wipe clean and so far survived many campfires unharmed. I really recommend this chair for the back support, there is an amazing comfort ( and no back pain) and huge difference between this Strongback chair and any ordinary camping chair. Love the chair

I have one already and these chairs are the best ..A bit pricey but they are comfortable .

This is the best chair that I have found for lumbar support. The only thing that is missing is cushioning. Otherwise I would have given five stars.

Changed my review from 5 star to 1 star . Chair is comfortable but horrendous customer service. Reason for one star is it said on amazon that the Gulu XL is rated to 350lbs capacity. On the chair the tag says it is rated to 300lbs cap. Reason for me buying the XL was do to the 350lbs. Amazon wont do anything as it is to late to return and no one answers at Strongback, hence this review Update: I am 270 lbs and used this chair maybe 50 times and the chair broke. The front of the chair where there is an X that supports the front seat, the rivet broke. Luckily for Amazon they had my back. Do not buy this chair as even the one that we have not used at all there is play where the rivet is, and will brake also when used

I have had Strongback before and they where the most comfortable chairs. Need to buy new ones after 6 years and i bought the 3.0 ones. Well they are not the ones that we had before. We returned them and bought the 2.0 xl. We have not received them yet so that is why i will not say anything bad about strongback as we loved the once we had. The most comfortable chairs out there. Yes they are very expensive but worth it. Update... After 3 months one of the rivets broke and chair is not usable. The company wrote wrong weight limits on Amazon ad and when i got the chair the limit was off by 50 lbs. I contacted strong back if i could buy one of the rivets and they said because of safety reasons the will not sell it to me. Not worth the money
