Professional 8-Piece German High Carbon Stainless Steel Kitchen Knife Set, Premium Forged Full Tang Chef Knives Set with Wood Block

I have purchased several knifes like most people have but these knifes have a slender holder, the metal legs.... was amazing and once I received it I could tell right away these are premium and will last. Just look at my old one I got from Macy's tools of trade for $45. They all broke at the tips and the bigger ones broke in no time. These ones have slender the tips and what even amazes me is cutting shears (scissors) that came with it is Unique. It has a safety snap that locks it in place is and also multifunctional. I love to cook and I love the fact that it has different types of knives for each occasion. I will highly recommend these because they are slender and does not take up space. The weight is also perfect and it makes it very study and not bulky at all.

I did a lot of research when selecting our newest knife set. I had just come from a household of cutco knives and was looking for something with quality without the hefty price tag. I was not disappointed in the slightest. This excellent knife set has all the basics a casual cooker needs as well as the quality. I will say that the wood block smelled a little strange when I first removed it, but I soaked it in some vinegar and dawn to remove the odor.

So this set is, I think in line with the cost.. the block is not fully finished, it's more rustic but very usable. Blades are thicker and so might not seem as sharp, but they are probably 18-20 degrees which is standard. They have some weight to them and seem like they would hold up over time with maintenance. All my knives did fit into specific slots without issue. These would be the set you don't have to fret over, just wash quickly by hand, wipe dry and put away (kinda workhorse types).

I just started in my first from scratch kitchen. I needed a knife set to get started I did a little research and made the decision to get this set while I waited for some knives from another professional kitchen supply site. I just received the new knives today and this set from Amazon is more comfortable sharper and was more affordable. If I would have known this set was going to be such a good fit I would have cancelled the one I was waiting for. This was a very good price and it works great.

They are full tang bladed kitchen knives and have good weight on them. That's about all that's good about em. They get scratched easily when you clean them. I wash them and dry them after every use(never had them in the dishwasher) and after 6months my chef knife is getting rust spots on it. Sharpness didn't last very long.

The knives and knife block not only look amazing, but are of great quality especially for the price you pay! The knives arrived sharp. I washed the knives and the block before use and am extremely impressed that they are in such good condition. Great value.

The paring knife came dull with the set, had to put it on my stone for a good while to get an edge that would keep. Other than that it's a good quality set with the remaining knives keeping an edge and they look good too.
