Do you want a really, really sharp knife
I bought this thanks to tiktok. And I must say, this has really used my sharpening game. And yes you have to take the angle guide off. It's just one really easy to access screw that you just loosen and pull it off, that's it. You owe it to yourself to buy this. Because the most dangerous thing in a kitchen is a dull knife.

Just got it today
but wow- works very well- i primed it with the white block that came with it- did it several times ot make sure it was on good, and did a couple of knives that needed finishing- wow- did a fantastic job- nice polish on the edge now. Belt was a little hard to put onto the sander- quite tight- but eventually carefully worked it on and it's working good after i got it going by hand spinning the belt a few times- I can't comment on how long it will last- or if it will stretch out or not- but if it does stretch, plan to just glue it to an old sanding belt with flexible glue, will help it stay on hopefully. so far though it is tight, tracks very well, and works very well- very pleased so far

Good idea with stropping paste.
This comes with a brick of white stuff. Hard as a rock. Fortunately I have other stropping abrasives, and use them. The strop takes the burr, grime, fine and fine ridges off the knife after you’ve put the razor edge on it. By the time I take the belt off my KO Worksharp and get this belt on, I could have used a regular strop and be popping my first top. By the time I get enough of that white stuff onto the belt to do any blade dressing, I could have been on my second beverage. Just saying...

Well packaged purchase
Package arrived with a sturdy ziplock container for the strop. Instructions were well explained, not dummy proof mind you but if your using this on a machine and are stoopid (misspelled purposely) you could be in for an ER visit. I liked the additional info of using bar soap to help aid with application, and care of the strop. I have purchased multiple items from red label (ceramic sanding belts etc) and havent been disappointed yet. Will attempt to use this today after tempering and honing some new blades in production.

Works as advertised.
Was a little tight getting on initially, but once I figured that out, it produced a mirror finish in my kitchen knives. Can’t tell the difference between the edge on ones I sharpened/polished and those just back from a professional sharpener.

3/4” X 12” Red Label Abrasives Leather Strop
Red Label Abrasives in my opinion makes a superior leather strop. It’s made just a tad smaller so that it fits snug on the Ken Onion WorkSharp sharpener ensuring It doesn’t stretch out from use. It comes with more than enough compound to keep the strop loaded up as necessary. If you think you get your edges sharp, and truthfully I’m sure you do get them there, throw your edges on a good strop like this when your finished honing. You’ll truly be amazed at the final product. I’d recommend these strops to anyone desiring that “hair popping” edge your blades deserve. You just can’t go wrong with Red Label Abrasives, which is why I’m a repeat customer.
