03 GM TRUCK DOORS PERFECT. OK- Clear sound,@40watts. N2M bass or mid. no cracking
These are not bad for the price. Its been years since i messed around with sound systems, But my brother loves too hear his tunes. I grabbed a Ekat touchscren 2din, along with these too replace the oem blown 4"?door speakers on a REG' cab longbed 2003 GM 1500.. (THEY FIT PERFECT IN DOOR) I always remeber seeing and hearing the name of these years ago. And it says there made in germany? Either way, there pretty goof looking speakers. well made. the oem gm door speakers are only 4"?.. But the 6.5 fit perfect if you dont mind running a cpl self tappers in the door.. The screws and clips came with them, but i usde 1/4" zip ins. worked fine. The wire they give is junk. I just cut and crimped female flat blade terminals on the oem harness -then rite onto the speakers. The frills if you plan too use mite be tricky, youll need longer self tappers, or somthin too grab the door metal.. Or dont worry about it, since the oem door panels cover them fine. -btw- for he GM door panels there are 7mm screws holding the door panel on. and then itll lift rite up strait easily.. 1X behind lock, 1x below hand grab/arm rest, and 1x down at very bottom of door front/middle area. I marked them in the pics w/ red were the 2x 7mm are abouts on 2003 style GM truck. -Its been about a month, daily driving with these speakers. There still working. They havent cracked.. At first, I was like wth, hte OEM speakers sound better. But, depending how you listen too you music, and your head unit, etc. These are prob beter for someone who just wants something that works, They like trebble.. OK MID, No bass. Which is fine for me. Since Im puttin a amp and sub in behind seat for the bass. So I keep the bass at 1, or 0 in my speakers, let the sub take care of bass. W/ treble maxed or 1 less in my speakers. And w/ the cheaper touchscreen ekat head unit, wich is prob putting out 40-50 watts too each corner they do the job, and not bad after a month and still goin clear.... I grabbed some cheapo tweeters, for 8$.. reall junk, but actually work good too hear all the symbols and hi pitch sounds of rock, metal, hardcore music.. or vocals of other music.. combined sounds great. plus the sub for bass in back.. These speakers would probaly be awesome, connected to a amp, and or a good head unit w/ equilizer. It sounds like they could give so much more with the rite setup.. But there still not bad hooked too just the head unit. And i can see them lasting a while.. At first, I wasnt real happy with them, but my hearing is shot from all my years working w/ equipment, chainsaws etc.. But as days went by, I kinda likem the way they are, clear crisp, an a mild HI.. So i can still hear the music good enuff.. AND when my brother cranks it too 35, max out, I dont haveta worry about them blowing.. Good work truck or commuter, beater speakers..

Big Bang for the buck.
My stock speakers in my pre owned Ford Focus were blown when purchased. I need my radio. I have a long commute to and from work and use the radio about 3 hours a day. I needed new speakers. I found these and was skeptical because of the price but I wasn’t looking for anything fancy, just for some speakers as good as factory. If they were better that would just be a plus. These speakers are way better than factory. The treble and bass adjustments on my stock radio are very noticeable and the speakers handle it without the sound washing out. If you’re looking to replace bad factory speakers or you want to improve the stock sound of your vehicle these speakers are way worth it. P.S. the speakers have several mounting hole options making it ideal to be used in any application.

Perfect older car factory upgrade
I installed these in my 2007 Hyundai Accent, replacing the falling apart factory speakers. They are being used in conjunction with an aftermarket Sony DVD stereo. With minor tweaks on the equalizer and crossover these produce good clean sound, even at fairly high volume. The tweeter is not as robust as the woofer and is the first to distort between the two, again at fairly high volume. I have had speakers from Pioneer, Alpine, JVC, JBL, and many others. All of which had their high and low points. This set I would rate as above the curve, not taking the low price in to consideration. On the value for money standpoint, these rank right up there with the best I have had. I do wish Blaupunkt would advertise these as two way, but such is the way with inexpensive audio these days. That said, be realistic with what a sub $25 set of speakers can do and you should be as pleasantly surprised as I was.

Speakers are fine.
I teamed these speakers up with a new JVC head unit and some Blaupunkt 6x9s and have been very pleased with the outcome. Good bass response and clear mids and highs. If you want something that you can push to the max all the time, these may not be for you. I have also read where some say these have fake tweeters and are not true 4 ways. All I can say is they sound fine for rock, country and Christian rock and I've had them up pretty loud. I don't think you can do any better for the money. I'd buy them again.

Good mids and highs, almost no lows (bass)
Have installed it on the rear door of my Subaru WRX 2105. The sound lacked low frequencies compared with the original crappy speakers that came with the car. Details: the original speakers were 5.75" size and have a very small 1" magnet. They say max 35W on the back and have no Tweeter. These speakers have a much bigger magnet, 6.5" size (in the description) - 80Hz to 20 kHz range and probably 60W RMS/unit. The reality is that the original speakers had a 5" cone and there new ones also have a 5" cone !. So no upgrade here. The new speakers just cheat because they have a wider metal mounting circle which is full of holes. When mounting it, you have to plug the holes to avoid bad sound. The new speakers lacked BASS compared with the old ones. I have mounted a new speaker on one door while keeping the old one on the other. In the end I had to return them.

great sound for the price
I am a low-key audiophile, not super into tech or whatever but I do mess around with audio stuff and like it to sound good. I recycled an amp and sub I salvaged out of an old car and mounted it all with these speakers in a cabinet I built to make a semi-portable boom box of sorts. honestly, I thought these sounded surpisingly decent on their own, and with tweaking the adjustments on the crossover on the amp, with the sub, they sound great. I wouldn't ask them for deafening volume, but they can certainly do fine 'loud' and I think their frequency response and balance is pretty good. for the price, I'm impressed, I'd but them again. note: I think they really sound better with some enclosure. that can be tough in a car door, but I recommend doing what you can.

Great little speakers for the money!!
After much research I purchased these speakers for a 1998 Chevy S10 my husband just got. The factory speakers were blown and needed to be replaced. He wanted something that would have decent sound and didn't cost an arm and a leg. These fit the bill to a T. He said he remembered Blaupunkt from years ago and that they were a good brand. He said they were easy to install and they look great. So if he's happy I'm happy!! Thanks Blaupunkt!! :-)

Excellent value at their price...
I’m a minor audiophile, so normally speakers like these would not be in my sights to purchase. That said, I replaced the interior speakers in our RV with these as the stock single driver 26 watt speakers were pretty awful. I have no plans to mess with amps and subs in the RV so was just looking for a good “buzz for your buck” solution to improve audio. Because the RV system has three zones I was able to directly compare the old to the new. These speakers are likely less efficient as they are not as loud as the stock, however the sound difference is simply night and day. The highs are much crisper and low frequencies cleaner. They do a nice job with mid frequencies and voice. The first speakers I tested each had rattles to them at louder volumes. The culprit was the leads for the the tweeter center assembly which were contacting the base driver. You can gently bend these away from the driver and the problem is solved. I suspect a few reviewers have mistaken blown speakers for ones with this issue. At their price, you’d be hard pressed to beat the value of these speakers.

Sonido muy bueno
El sonido está equilibrado; no soy una persona que sea exigente con los bajos o cosas similares, entonces se me hicieron de buena calidad para el sonido que sacan.

Acceptable.
A good speaker, not bad, not impressive. A bit thick and struggles to fit behind my door cards, otherwise they can be a good deal if the price is right. For your average Joe, these will do the job perfectly, just not exceptionally.

Good quality speakers but bad packing from amazon and damaged product from the seller
Received it in a very poor packing. One speaker was unglued from a corner. So applied glue and fixed it rather than facing hurdles for returning. I would blame the seller for it. Installed now working perfect.
