My daughter had been wearing this color for years, I always liked it on her so I bought one for myself too.

Is what my wife asked for.

Two coats of this and it's completely solid, no streaks, no sheer spots. At first glance Smokin' Hot looks like a dark blue-brown, which doesn't sound pretty. But on my pale skin, it's really flattering with my short nails. It's a little cooler than China Glaze Foie Gras, where the Foie Gras is more warm and brown, Smokin' Hot is more cool purple; but both have a depth that is almost a black/brown. So it's easy to dress up or down with accent glitter, etc. If you like darker polish, the chances are you'll like this color.

Never thought of ordering nail polish from a website before but I was looking for this polish for a gift and the few stores I tried were out of it. I thought I'd give it a go. I ordered it and it arrived very quickly. Took only a few days to arrive and when it arrived, it was packaged in bubble wrap and very new and clean looking. Would definitely order again from amazon and this seller.

The polish came very fast in the mail, it is a STUNNING shade of gray and I am going to probably get another bottle to last me the season. I have received so many compliments on the polish and it lasts forever. I am a hair stylist so I'm using my hands all day long everyday. I used an ESSIE top coat with it and the color lasted over a week and I ended up having to take it off only because my nails had grown out too much. I love it!

I was so excited to find this color because this was from the winter 2010 collection I was not able to locate a store that was carrying it this year!! The color of the bottle is more purple-ish than I expected and if I seen it in the store I probably would have decided against it but based off of the photo I ran across it was the perfect shade of gray I was looking for.. and when I painted my nails... I got the same result as the photo!! WOOT

Initially I created a review that was marginal due to the fact that the item stated it was in stock and then came to find out after a couple of weeks that it was discontinued. I wrote a note to that effect that because I already placed the order and was told it would be arriving soon, I missed out on a chance to buy the item from a different vendor. After this comment was posted, I was contacted by the vendor explaining the reasoning why it was no longer available and, if I would reconsider my original comment, I would receive a replacement nail polish at no charge. Once the comment was removed, I would get information on how to go about and claim my replacement. I understood the reason behind not being able to get the item I wanted and thought that it was nice of AVEyou to offer the replacement so I did reconsider and deleted my review. However, it has been a few weeks now and still, no replacement and no further comment from this vendor. Would not buy from them anytime soon.

Manicures don't last for me...ever! Whether I do them at home or get them done in a salon! I love to have my nails polished too, so it's sad for me! (NO ARTIFICIAL either, it's not for me) I bought this polish b/c I saw it featured on People.com...and I LOVE IT! I've had so many compliments on the color itself, but I love the brand too! It lasts for days!! I will definitely be purchasing more Essie polishes in the future!

Sans surprise chez Essie, belle couleur, tient bien et pour peut que l’ont applique un top coat de la même marque le résultat sera parfait.👍

El color es precioso. La textura del esmalte es perfecta, como casi todas las de Essie, deja un acabado muy homogéneo, brillante y duradero. Es una de mis marcas favoritas.

Estos esmaltes son una maravilla. Duran muchísimo, muy cubrientes y con brillo. Además siempre tienen promociones muy buenas y se pueden conseguir por buen precio por aquí. Yo he cogido 3 tonos y todos preciosos.

Es un producto excelente, de mucha calidad, el color es precioso, y el envio se tramito de forma puntual y eficiente. Muy recomendable.

The product is great, delivery time not so great. I’d actually given up on ever receiving this nail varnish - it was worth the wait.
