Works well! I'm a natural brunette. I've been coloring my hair blonde for years. I haven't colored my hair in months until recently. So, I had a decent amount of brunette back. I don't bleach my hair due it making my hair dry and brittle. I bought blonde hair dye and purchased this mask to use as a toner. I'm glad I did. After coloring my brunette hair blonde, as expected my hair was orange (brass) I used this mask immediately after coloring, I no longer have any brass in my hair After ONE use! It does exactly what it says it does. I will be purchasing this every time I color my hair. The directions say to leave it in for 5 minutes. I am happy with the results. I highly recommend this. Especially if you're like me and don't want to use harsh bleach in your hair. I should have took before and after pictures. I was very surprised it worked so well. I have tried other products and got not so good results. This will definitely be my go to product from now on.... I love that it made my hair feel so soft and hydrated afterwards as well. I usually have tangles even after using most conditioners, it wasn't tangled at all after using this. It has a mild scent but a pleasant one. Update.. I have used this for a second time and my hair is even lighter. (Which was what I wanted) I am now purchasing the bigger bottle for future use.

Full dislosure: going from bright copper with lots of grown out light brown roots, straight to blonde. obviously my single bleach couldn’t get rid of ALL the red. but this mask really works! moisturized, hair feels great, excited to use again. I have gone from dyed copper red to blonde to allow my white roots to grow in without a glaring demarcation line. My short hair was in excellent condition to begin with due to my stylist & Pureology Moisturizing shampoo & conditioner. I tried the Pureology Purple Shampoo & it's not bad but a little drying but I saw no effect on brassiness. I added Kenra Violet conditioner. It did nothing & was Very drying. Shimmer Lights Conditioner Mask did more for brassiness than either the Pureology Shampoo or Kenra Conditioner, w/less drying tho I did follow the rinse-out w/my Pureology conditioner. The Shimmer Lights was one of the first purple shampoos on the market & has been around for a very long time, most likely the because the brand really is good. Highly recommend this mask for brassiness.

Love love love this mask I left it on a little longer than 5 minutes and I’m so thankful I tried it bc it did so much for my hair color i had the slightest hue of brass I just couldn’t bleach out but the rest of my hair is blonde blonde I’ve tried toners more bleach everything and then I tried this and I feel confident and excited to enjoy my new hair finally after all that work it took to get here thanks this product will stay in my hair care line up amazing results wish I would have taken a pic I’ll look threw to see if I took any that day and post if so!! Great price nothing to loose besides that hue of yellowish orange that is stopping u from living the best blonde life yet stopping

Does the job but the smell is a very strong bad perfume scent.

You guys, this mask is amazing!! I just touched up my light brown roots I had with Revlon Color Silk ultra light natural blonde. Used the Shimmer Lights shampoo and conditioner, left each on for 3 minutes. Still had the slightest yellow tint and used this mask as suggested for 5 minutes, combed it through from root to ends while my hair was damp. Rinsed out, dried it and finished with a drop of Moroccan Oil on the ends. I'm so excited with my results, and thoroughly impressed with both the Revlon Color Silk brand and the Shimmer Lights products. There's some strawberry blonde lowlights, but I don't mind. All of these together left my hair so soft, lovely fragrance and much healthier than when I went to the salon. This can definitely save you money if used correctly!

Excellent conditioner for grey/gray hair. It does what is says and it works well for African American hair.

I colour my hair blonde and my regular stylist was out. The other one didn't use the correct color and my hair went very brassy. This product saved my hair and brought it back to a reasonable colour. Works perfectly

Dark color

Very good treatment for that brassy hair dilemma. You will not see immediate results but ive used it 3x and has tremendously helped my brassy hair turn to a better shade. Worth ur money !

What's not to like. Gentle scent, nice and dark purple and easy on the scalp. Finishing with this is fantastic for drier and brittle hair. Put it on when hair is nice and warm. Let it work. Rinse with warmer water but only half rinse. That warmer water allows the hydrating components to enter your hair better. Then, rinse finally. Seal with cooler water if you can. This product works excellent for non professional... professional toning. Continued use is optimal. Excellent non-invasive brassy "aid".
