It has a magnetic back so it can be attached to anything around the kitchen, like the side of the cooker. The digital thermometer has a backlight and actually switches off automatically when not in use. Has two different setting to measure temperature. It has a cover to keep you safe from pricked accidentally. Also it is easy to clean, although I wouldn't dip the electric side under water. Just the tip you insert into the food. Happy with the price and purchase and delivery. No complaints here.

It has a backlight, but goes out after 15-20 seconds. Repushing the on button brings the backlight on again.

A terrible product. The English translation of the instructions is rubbish, so you have to interpret the very poor English and grammar as best you can to get some idea of how to calibrate and operate this. It's no better once it's up and running - difficult to tell when and what it's reading, or even if it has just switched itself off and stopped reading. After several attempts at calibrating and taking temperatures from known sources I couldn't get any accuracy or consistency out of this. Taking temperature has never been made so complicated and unreliable. Save yourself the bother and just spend a bit more on a simple to use product and reliable brand.

This has helped my cooking so much. I was overcooking everything just to be safe. The best part is that it has a loop so I can hang it right near my oven.

Dit item was battery included. Duidelijk dat dit al enige tijd onverkocht in de stock lag, want de batterij werkte amper nog momenteel. Ook de verlichte functie werkte zo niet zoals zou moeten. Ik hoop dat het wel zal werken wanneer ik een vervangende batterij vind.
