This part was listed as compatible with a 1987 Jeep Wrangler 2.5L in-tank pump. Unfortunately, it does not work. It does not fit the existing sending unit at all and there is no way to make it compatible. Return was easy, though.

Replacement 100% original, highly recommend

Easy installation (once I cut a hole in the floor of a PT Cruiser to get the old one out!). Works fine and quiet. Don't make a mistake and try to save some $ by buying a cheap fuel pump. You only want to do this job ONCE. I bought a Spectra brand (cheap) fuel tank sending unit for my classic Corvette, and it was made defective by design, and isn't accurate. No wonder their fuel pumps cost so much less.
