Ours arrived with only two dice can we play with only 2 dice?

No I think you need to have 3 dice. As you are playing the game and you only have 2 tokens left then you go down to 2 dice And when you have one token left you go down to 1 dice.

Other then the L,C,R and the dot, is there a wild side to the dice?

Yes, there is…but the wild game is sold separately, is green, and marked “wild.“ The die included in this game has a side marked “wild,” in addition to LCR. (There is a video review of this green box.) Some people don’t like it, because the wild game goes from the original game of chance to now a game of deliberate taking from another person. Consider the personalities and especially the ages when playing. The wild game is recommended for ages 8+.
