I am so glad I got these Vala Alta 100% Irish Linen Handkerchiefs. They are wonderfully soft and absorbent. They also dry quickly, so on humid days, I can use one and not have a wet mess sitting in my purse until I get home. They are quality linen, sustainably sourced (and creating linen from flax is more environmentally friendly than cotton production anyway) and durably made. If you want the smooth look, they will need ironing, because, well, because they are linen. Most of the time, the natural linen wrinkles are fine for me, but ironing makes them feel even softer. If you like linen, you will truly enjoy using these handkerchiefs.

Came on time. Well made. My own fault but they are smaller than I expected. I didn’t read well enough because I was looking Men’s handkerchiefs so they are smaller than I expected, but it is as stated. I also say measure d them to be more like 11 1/2 and by 11 1/2 instead of 12 x 12 probably because of the hem. Nice quality.

I know these are expensive but I use them for wiping my eyes and they are perfect for that task !! Absorbent and wash up well. As I am 78, I reckon they will last until I croak !!!!!!

Too small. Stiff and face unfriendly. Absorbs but cotton is faster. Main complaint: stiff and harsh face/nose feel. Skin unfriendly.

Too small to use as handkerchiefs

These handkerchiefs are beautiful. The material is high quality and the color and size were exactly what I was looking for. More importantly, the seller had the most kind and human gesture I’ve ever experienced after learning about the reason I bought these handkerchiefs. They made me feel valued not only as a customer but as a person, and that goes a long way!

They are soft, wash well, but NEED IRONING!
