Thinner batters/matrials work best. (This is not meant to be a "top chef" funnel.) Just be practical and you will be happy. If you need a more precise or larger funnel then look elsewhere.My single complaint is the tamper/plug is too short. If it were just about another inch...probably closer to two inches longer it would be great.I am considering getting a second, I love having a back-up(s) in my tool portfolio.NOTE:We are going to get a rubber cork, a very small one, and heat it to form it to the base of the funnel port. What I mean is we will heat it and place it on the tamper just above the ball and then push it down to form it to the shape of the funnel to add more stopping power. A similar fitting (molding) may be done with food-grade silicone which, I like even better.

Definitely worth the money but takes a little time getting used to using it.

Although the picture makes it look like there is a 'trigger' so you can operate this with one hand, you really need two full hands to operate it. With time I'll get better at using it, it does do the job, albeit not as easily as I had hoped.

It works fine but isn't a real timesaver and is fairly difficult to clean.

This product is perfect for baking!!! I love this product however the down side is that if you are not mindful the finger trigger can easily break. Otherwise this is perfect for dispensing things.

Very economical for a seldom used item. It would be better with a stand like some of the more expensive ones.

The funnel arrived broken due to flimsy packaging. It should be boxed, not in a padded envelope!The funnel, if it wasn’t split, appears like it should work. I will probably do as another suggested and use a rubber band on the handle/rod to facilitate holding the rod in the closed position.Overall, not that impressed. It appears weakly made. But then, for $8 ...I will be asking for a replacement.
