USB Numeric Keypad 23 Keys with Retractable Wire, Space and TAB Key, Light, Silent Touch Number Keypad for Laptop Desktop Notebook PC Computer

I didn't realize how much I was going to miss having a numeric keypad until I got a Dell XPS 15 without one. I looked all over Amazon for a good numeric keypad and was having a hard time deciding between wireless and wired and the layout of keys I wanted. Many of the wireless ones were reported as shutting down to save power so sometimes you would go to use it and the first press would wake the device and not register on the computer. I definitely didn't want that to happen so I went for this wired one because the wire was retractable and I liked the layout of keys.It has a dedicated calculator key for launching the calculator app in Windows, an E-mail launcher and Home launcher (both launch my browser). Then it has many of the usual numeric keypad keys including Num Lock and a light that indicates whether it is on or off. Everything works fine in Windows 10.There are four small anti-slip pads, one on each corner. They do the job a little but larger grips would have been better.What I don't care for is the size. It is quite large and the keys are much larger than my laptop keys, so it is a little clunky and ugly. But I compared the measurements to MANY other numeric keypads on Amazon and the size is pretty much in line with all of the others. Still, I would have much preferred the same layout and keys but smaller in size.Overall, a good purchase for the price.

It works fine for what it is but it's not perfect. I especially wanted chicklet type keys as a personal preference. Unfortunately, the keys are too big with not enough space around them and needing more rounded corners. Result? I end up catching two keys at once too often. Also, the single key zero takes more getting used to (i.e. slowing down and looking at it) to hit it right. Also, I'd prefer to get back my double-wide zero key and give up the space key (or add it as a long this bar at the bottom like on the keyboard)

Told a friend that since quite a few people are right handed that having the keypad on the left would be helpful. This helped me test that theory and I feel like I am right about it.

Lasted exactly 7 months with minimal usage- keys became over sensitive and multiple numbers would be entered with one tap. Now I will need to purchase a new one.

Keypad is large and works well for inputting numbers. However, retractable cord is barely functional. I can get it to retract, but only with much effort. Cheaply made. I am going to use it simply because I don't want to keep track of a wireless tiny usb.

Gave this to my boyfriend for Christmas - he's a high school math teacher and frequently enters grades using his laptop. This keypad simplifies data entry, and the retractable cable makes it easier to transport from classroom to classroom.

3rd time's a charm!! The 2 others I purchased prior did no work. This one does!!

Great keyboard. Only one that has the space bar, back and tab buttons. The only thing that would make it perfect would be if it was bluetooth.
