Does it contain Palm Oil?

Yes, unfortunately palm oil is an ingredient in the noodles. Sesame oil is used in the flavor packet. This is from the Sapporo Ichiban Original Flavor packaging.

Is there a version of this without monosodium glutamate?

Nope. Most instant soups have MSG. There are a few products that are made without it but, in my experience, they are very bland and require a lot more time and effort to prepare.

How much sodium in the noodles (I don't use the seasoning packet)?

Not sure, the package does not separate the nutritional info between noodles vs soup base. However based on the ingredients listed for the noodles, I would say the majority of the sodium comes from the noodles

Has anyone else recieved expired ramen from Sapporo recently?

Oh my goodness ,I did not even think to look ! Great question. No our is May 4th of next year. I have heard a lot recently that the date is only the suggested use by date . I love theses Sapporo noodles being a vegan it is the only one I eat .
