Wanted to see how this would stack up against blue-light blocking glasses. I find them to be superior, if used in the right way. Very calming. Trying to figure out why these would work better than the glasses. My conclusion is that glasses block blue light that's coming directly in front on you, through the lenses. But glasses do nothing to stop ambient blue light reflections that will allow light in from above/below and from the outsides of the lenses. This bulb addresses the problem at the source. If there is no blue light emitted, there's nothing needed to block. The downside to these is the same issue with all LED bulbs. They are advertised as energy savers (only 7W!!) that equal a 45w standard bulb. But you cannot light a room with a 45w bulb. If these were 15w, they would have more usefulness As it is, they work fine for a reading lamp or other use where the amount of light needed is minimal. Overall, they work well for the intended use, and much more comfortable than wearing blue-light glasses.

I found these bulbs to be perfect for reading in bed and then falling asleep quickly. The orange glow of the light makes the room feel warm and inviting. I can truthfully say that these bulbs have made it easier for me to fall asleep. I also work rotating shifts and when I go to bed in the morning, these bulbs have made it easier to feel sleepy after working all night.

Lo compramos para ponerlo en el cuarto. Lo usamos en la noche, antes de dormir, mientras estamos en el celular o viendo una pelicula. Nos ha servido mucho porque nos da sueño rápido. Para dormir con él es complicado, porque sí tiene mucha potencia, pero para ponerlo en la mesita de noche, para antes de dormir, está perfecto.
