This sunscreen goes on smoothly and absorbs well without leaving a heavy greasy feeling. It provides strong SPF 50 protection and works great for outdoor time. The scent is pleasant and not overpowering. Good size for travel or keeping in a bag.

This is a great sunscreen made with 100% vegetarian ingredients and it's biodegradable! So that means it healthier for you, water bodies, and our animal friends. It goes on silky smooth and doesn't have a strong smell. I used it all day for working outside and it kept me from getting burned, like other folks who were with me. The cost of this is right on par if not lower than other options out there. And this one makes you feel good since you're using vegetarian, eco-friendly sunscreen too!

This is a great product; it's a lotion and sunscreen. It is supposed to have a lite smell, but I can't smell anything. I also like that this company is cruelty free.

We love Alba as a company, and we've used most of their sunscreens at some point. This is the one we turn to right now for our first super thick layer of sunscreen for extended periods of time out in the sun. It rubs in well, doesn't leave the ghosty white time, is moisturizing without being greasy, and it smells really good. I give it 4 stars due to it not being suitable to for the face, and I'd really love to have 1 product.It will go on your face fine, but if you sweat, it can sting your eyes like nobody's business. Therefore I use a certain stick by another company that I probably can't mention here for face, especially my young son's. We rarely get any level of burn, and if we do it's usually not a product fail but, rather, a user-issue, namely forgetting to reapply in time. I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could. As for the rest of the day... I will admit that unless it's a windy beach day, we use the Alba Hawaiian spray for frequent-ish spot reapplications throughout the day. It's about the only way I can get my guys--large and small--to pause for a reapplication. That is also an effective product but it will leave you shiny and a little greasy. I'm fine with that for the way we use it, but for pre-dressing and heading to the car, my preference is this lotion for that reason as well. My son uses a nice roll-on product for his camp day reapplications which is easy for him to use without using half the tube, plus it can go on his face. And it won't explode in his backpack. Wish I could mention that one too. But that one is so expensive, I only buy it for the camp scenario, and I slather him in the product on this page plus that face stick every morning. I check Environmental Working Group's site for product toxicity information. They have a specific section on sunscreens. This exact product, as of this writing, rates a "2". (Scale is 0-10, lowest is least toxic) The spray version rates a "3".

The bestest! Love this stuff. Great for face and neck; gives a quiet sheen to your skin. It's like a mini vacation for a couple of minutes every morning when I apply it. Other women ask me what I use on my skin. When I tell them it's this stuff, they say things like, "NO! I mean what do you use on your face at night?" It's funny because it's really THIS Alba that is flattering me all day more than anything I might use at night. They don't believe me.

I recently purchased and used this product on my recent trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico. This was a last minute purchase, which worried me b/c I am very particular about smells and texture but I was pleasantly surprised with my online order. There was no oily feel left on the skin, besides a regular light lotion feel. The scent was light and not overpowering which was perfect. And shame on me, but I never really reapplied after getting in the water but it seemed to hold up pretty well b/c I never burned. As a fair skinned hispanic, I barely even had a hint of golden, which kind of bummed me out b/c it would be nice to have some glow...maybe one day lol...BUT that means my sunscreen really worked. When you're in Mexico for 5 days, that's pretty amazing. Also, my skin is normally very sensitive to sunscreens, lotions, soaps, etc. and I had no irritation or any problems with the after affects. I do appreciate the moisturized skin and even light glow it left me. The rest of my party unfortunately did not use my Alba Botanica Hawaiian Green Tea Sunscreen, so most of them came back splotchy and burnt due to aerosol spray sunscreen. What's crazy is that I actually still have some left in the tube after this trip, so a bit goes a long way.

Arrived on time and works GREAT...Used it on a cruise and we were well protected.

Die Sonnencreme eignet sich äußerst gut für das Gesicht und kann insbesondere im Zusammenhang mit der täglichen Hautpflege genutzt werden. Sie hinterlässt zwar ein leicht glänzendes Gesicht, aber das stört eher weniger, da das Produkt die Haut sehr gut schützt.

It smells really nice and fresh, barely like sunscreen at all. It layers really nicely under floral/green perfumes and it doesn't dry my skin out. My only complaint is that I wish it came in a bigger bottle.
