It is definitely worth purchasing. I bought it for my son and nephew, the only issue is that it doesn't light up blue like in the pictures. It looks more like a greenish color, probably because the minion is yellow and...well yellow minion + blue light = greenish glow. Aside from that, it's great!

Got this for my son, great for nightlight (remember plug in, otherwise will turn off after 30 or 60 mins); but it seems only stays on with the brightest and dimmed yellow, the different colors one seems will be cycling, at least I didn't get it work, also the color is not as noticeable as the picture except the Red one, could be the yellow skin, but overall for kid its a fun one

Great for kids who love the Minions. While it does occasionally change color when you tap the top, the mechanism is actually in the bottom so tapping the soft empty silicone head doesn’t always result in it changing color. Ours also only changed yellow, white, and red…NO GREEN LIGHT. I do feel safe leaving my child alone with it though since most of it is soft silicone (except the bottom plastic piece) , and the batteries are screwed in. It also does not get hot or warm in any way when being left on for extended periods of time. The charging cord easily falls out with the slightest movement though which is irritating.
