The camera has stopped working. I’ve tried resetting the machine to factory defaults and it’s still not working. It’s now an incredibly expensive biscuit feeder.

The just after 12 months using the unit has broken. It causes wizzling sound and failing to link with Internet router. Camera works fine but if you try to speak to your pets all you would hear annoying high pitch sound...

I have had this product for 2 weeks and so far I have had to: - Reset the feeder in the app twice - Unplug/plug countless times - Reset the feeder itself 3 times The feeder has missed feeds, keeps losing connections, does not respond in the app even if the wifi signal is strong, all the lights are off on the feeder and the camera and microphone have stopped responding. Despite sending a few emails for support I am getting canned responses related to a global issues that had impacted me too. I am still waiting for a response that will actually address my issues and provide a solution. Currently, this is a very expensive food dispenser for me to manually provide food to my cat :(

Stars removed after I started getting adverts via app notifications! NOT COOL at all! It’s a great product to have for cat owners who care and want to make sure their pets are being looked after whilst away from home. However, the weighing of the food is not accurate, especially for smaller portions. 10g setting is consistently coming out at 8g, that’s 20% less which is unacceptable. On 30g setting it’s more accurate at 28g but it’s still not accurate enough. Be careful to check as you could be underfeeding your pet!

Love the idea of the product however having used it for the last month, the device randomly disconnects from the WiFi at random occurrences and can’t reconnect unless I’m with the device. Which is really unhelpful if I’m relying on the device working when I’m away from home. I’m so annoyed that this is the case. My WiFi is perfectly fine, the device is only 3 meters away from the hub and there have been no power outages. The device just randomly disconnects, then as soon as I walk through the door and have the app on the same WiFi - it magically reconnects. Not a happy customer at all.

Im very disappointed. I was away for 1 week and left 2 cats with this automatic feeder. The feeder keeps getting blocked and no food came out. Even when i try to feeding manually. And then it starts working again. It was a gamble and my cats were not getting enough food. Im using royal canin kitten. I almost had to fly back because my cats were not getting any food initially but i had to keep trying dispensing the food manually through the app. I have a camera opposite to the feeder and i can see that theres no food being stuck when the system said its blocked. It was really annoying and frustrating 😔😔😔

RETURNED because it was not fit for purpose. 1). Unreliable portion control - unfortunately there was no consistency is the amount of food dispensed despite the desired weight being programmed in. 2). The quality of the voice recording was terrible - it was muffled, distorted & generally unrecognisable. We are extremely disappointed & would not feel happy using it if we went away.

Bought this as I'm away from home for four days. Second day away and it's failed already saying it's blocked, clean immediately. It I was at home to clean it, I wouldn't need an auto feeder. An auto feeder has one job, this one isn't up to it. So now my cat has no food for three days thanks to this useless hunk of junk. Will return it when I get home. Garbage.

Very happy with the feeder! A great option for a single-cat household. The setting-up process is a bit of a hassle but the machine is always responsive so you get used to it. I only wish that the portions were a little smaller so that I can have more control over the quantity of food. I find that for my cat, 1 portion is too little but 2 portions is too much. Nonetheless, once you figure out an overall system for your cat's food, it works out.

Depuis que j’ai acheter ce produit, plus besoin de penser a donner a manger à notre chat, le distributeur s’en charge, le réglage est assez simple et notre chat connais par coeur le bruit des croquettes qui tombent dans la petite gamelle. La fonction pile (non incluse) est aussi judicieux en cas de panne de courant. Je recommande.

This is a 10/10 product that has exceeded expectations. Arrived in perfect condition due to great packaging. The app loaded onto my iPhone and the PetLibro connected to the Wi-Fi without a problem. The firmware updated quickly and it was showtime …… put the dry food in the silo, set the feeding time and used the camera function on my iPhone to see that the dry food went into the stainless steel bowl. It all worked perfectly. I was concerned that the mix of dry food we use including cubes of dental care dry food but I needn’t have worried. Your buying decision is whether to go for the camera or not (I love the camera). Alerts come up on the iPhone indicating audio and visual noise detection plus confirmation of food being released into the bowl. This can also act as a security alert if the cat isn’t causing the alerts! The next thing to test is the battery backup ……

TL;DR: Works and looks great with the exception of the recorded message feature. I bought this autofeeder for my cat out of desperation. She meows incessantly for 45 minutes or more before meal times which annoys my dog into shriek howling with every meow and causes me to contemplate double murder. I've only had this feeder for a couple days but so far it is working great! My cat is still learning that she must appeal to her new machine overlord for food, but she is already much better than she was. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and I will update my review if anything changes. PROS: - Easy set-up. It takes a few minutes but unless you're changing the schedule all the time for some reason, it's really not terrible. Some reviews claim you have to cycle through every time and portion to change something but that's not true. You can use the "+" and "-" buttons to navigate to the meal slot you want to change without starting from the beginning. Unused slots will have a time but if you set the portion to zero they will not dispense anything. This is probably obvious but it did confuse me for a second. I set mine to have 4 meals spaced 6 hours apart and it's been working like a charm. - No jamming problems even with larger kibble so far. The cat food I buy has larger chunks interspersed in with smaller kibble and I was worried that it might jam up the dispenser. So far it has been working just fine. It has a helpful sticker on the lid that shows you the largest kibble size it will accommodate and it seems to be accurate. I bought the 5L version which holds 4-5 lbs of food. - My devious cat has yet to figure out how to get extra kibble from it. The panel auto-locks so she can't press any buttons. I've seen her stick her paw up the chute to dig around but she hasn't succeeded in any extra snacks yet as far as I can tell. It's only been a few days so time will tell if she will use her demon powers to beat the machine. I would suggest either putting this feeder on the floor or securing it in place because I suspect that my cat would be able to push it off a table and/or knock it over of it was empty enough. The weight D batteries alone might make it relatively stable to tipping though. I have not actually seen her move it yet but I remain wary because she is a larger cat at 14 lbs and generally a menace to society*. - It seems well-made and is very sleek and modern looking. Appearance is less important than function to me but it does look quite nice. - I like that there is a battery meter display even when plugged in. I intend to have it plugged in all the time but it will be nice to know when the back-up batteries need to be replaced. - After completing set-up, I decided to move the feeder and had not installed batteries in it yet. I was expecting to reset at least the time but was pleasantly surprised to see it did not reset at all. It was unplugged for all of 10 seconds so I can't attest to how long it can go without power or batteries before resetting the time. - A customer service rep from PETLIBRO messaged me before my product arrived with some helpful tips and reminder that they have customer service available 24 hours on week days if I need it and a 12 month warranty. I have not had a need to contact customer service but I thought the pro-active message was nice. CONS: - It is not clear from anywhere in the instructions what constitutes a portion. From my measurements, it seems that one portion is equivalent to approximately 1/8 cup. I am happy with this portion size but I wish it had been clear without requiring experimentation on my part. - In my opinion, the only truly poor feature about this product is the recorded message option (whether you intend to use it or not). Other reviews mention that the recording quality is very poor and I have to agree. It is very staticy and mine also makes a rhythmic rasping noise even when recording silence. I had no intention of using this feature anyway as the sound of a pin drop would probably send her scrambling from across the house if it meant food. The problem is that there doesn't seem to be a way to delete or turn off the recording without resetting the whole machine. I hit the record button by mistake during set-up, which is very easy to do, and I didn't want to start over. I "bypassed" it by hitting the record button quick succession to create as short of a recording as I possibly could. The quick blip of static when it dispenses food doesn't bother me but it is annoying you can't just turn this feature off all together. This is by no means a deal breaker to me but if having a nice recorded message is important to you, I would not recommend this feeder. - Not exactly a con but I prefer a shallow dish for feeding my cat. The bowl that comes with the feeder is deep but it is a nice bowl and I like that it has a tray that attaches to the feeder to keep it from being kicked around. Luckily her old shallow bowl fits nicely within the provided bowl and I haven't noticed any issues with spilling while doing this. Not a big deal but something to consider if it matters to you. *I promise that I actually love my cat very much! 😂 Picture attached. She's the best cat in the world... when she's not hungry.

Tenemos un gato en casa y usualmente le dábamos doble porción por accidente, además de que a veces nos despertaba en la madrugada para comer. Por ello decidimos comprar este alimentador automático, por las buenas reseñas y la fama que tenía y cumple EXACTAMENTE con nuestras expectativas. Llegó muy rápido y estaba en perfectas condiciones (nuevo). Incluye todo, el dispensador, un tazón de acero inoxidable, el cable con su conexión y el manual; lo único que no incluye son las pilas alcalinas, que las recomiendan utilizar para que siga funcionando si se va la luz. Al principio batallamos para programarlo, pero después de leer el manual y ver un tutorial en Youtube, logramos hacerlo y ya nos resulta fácil. Es únicamente para croquetas y tu puedes calendarizar sus comidas y porciones; hasta puedes grabarle un mensaje que se reproducirá cuando sea la hora de servir. La verdad cumplió con nuestras expectativas y nos encantó la compra. Lo único que si le faltó, a diferencia de otros, sería su uso por medio de una aplicación en el celular o una cámara en donde lo puedas ver por si llegas a estar fuera de casa o así. Pero si eso no es un impedimento, lo recomiendo 100%.
