LEGOFriends Heartlake Summer Pool 41313 (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

Simple technology used by Lego is a welcome relief during these times. Imaginations are being sidelined by video games, etc. My opinion is Lego is a good gift for all no matter their age... I love building them with my grandchildren at 71 years young and loved doing so with my kids. Definitely would recommend.

My 8 and 10 year old girls love LEGOs. For her most recent birthday, my daughter searched through dozens of different LEGO sets before finally deciding that the Summer Pool was the best one to add to her collection. The girls were so excited to immediately put it together when it arrived. The instructions are simple but the attention to every little detail is what I especially adore about these sets. They're just so fun. The girls can spend hours playing with them. I hope they never outgrow their love for them.

Legos in general have always seemed over-priced to me but they are worth it, even if it's only going to be built once. I have a child and I am also taking college classes online, so on days where I'm running behind and have a deadline to meet, Legos are on my mind. My kiddo (6) will happily spend HOURS building. This particular set was very fun for her and she enjoyed playing with it for weeks.

Listening (pre-purchase) to my almost 9 year old granddaughter explain all the features this set would have, it seemed to have included more than other much higher priced sets had. Then, when my granddaughter showed me the set after she built it, she had discovered even more that it had that she hadn't noticed online. We were choosing between this & a much more expensive set that wouldn't have produced the excited phrase I got to hear many times: "And it has ____! And it has _____!" In the blanks were items like "another slide here! and a shower, and a hot tub, and it even has..!" I don't remember the feature that was a surprise to her. I like all Lego sets, but this one was better designed, cramming in more features than expected.

Because this is Lego brand, I’m sure this will be great. I’m worried, though, about the packaging if it’s been opened prior or where it has been because of all the damage to the box and the books inside were folded up inside. I’ll update after putting it together and seeing if everything’s inside. The box was sealed with tape not the push tabs on the box.Delivered from a third party seller in a USPS box, or rather two boxes taped together to make it fit.

I purchased this for my 6 year old niece, who had a few of the smaller Heartlake sets. She immediately sat down and put it all together with very little guidance from adults and loves it. The directions were very clear and easy to follow, and the set had a lot more to it than I expected, including pool, showers, slide, a bathroom, a snack cabana, a lifeguard stand, and a hot tub next to a seating area - and of course, two girl figures with pool toys. There are LOTS of tiny pieces, so beware and be ready to search for them. Small children may need help with application of stickers as well. Very happy with this purchase!

I have a 13 year old daughter that LOVES legos. She has mild auto-aim but Levi’s are like a calming factor for her. She had it completely built before they went back to school after Christmas vacation. Instructions were very easy to understand - when she made a mistake, it was easy to go back and see where it was made thanks to the pictures. Made me wish I were a kid again and be able to play and build things...

We purchased this Lego set for my granddaughter's 8th birthday. I love how each section comes in separate bags, clearly numbered. She simply opened up each bag one at a time, followed the instructions in the book, and, hey presto, it was assembled in no time. We didn't realize that she already had another set in the same series, which goes with this one. We purchased it because you can add sets as you go along to make a complete town! Highly recommend this for Lego lovers

My daughter absolutely loves this Lego set!Lego is a great way for kids to use their imagination and learn how to follow instructions. Nothing like watching the pride sweep across your kid's face once they finally finish the assembly!

My 7-year-old daughter decided she wanted to give a Lego project a try. We ordered 2. The instructions are ok if you pay attention to each one. She needed some adult guidance and supervision to get through it all. She loved making it and learned a little about organization (of pieces) and patience (figuring out where the pieces go and in what order. A great afternoon project that kept her off her electronics and brings out her imagination when she plays.
